Sedona...

Rhett and I have also been wanting to go to Sedona since we lived in Az. So we decided to head there too. It was a little warm, so only did a few hikes, and we didn't swim, because lets face it with two one year olds that just learned how to walk... not fun in a pool made of rocks=)!

Our first stop was the Chapel of the Holy Cross. It is a church built way, way up on the top of a hill, in the middle of the red rocks. Felt a little like SG up there!

Cozi... always so happy to be outside. Klara is too into checking out that rock wall next to her!!

We stopped at a little shopping, restaurant plaza, and the landscaping was amazing!!

It was so green and the buildings were all old, it kind of reminded me of the old missions in California. It would be a very, very cool place to take some wedding pictures there, or any kind of professional pictures, wish we lived closer=). It was beautiful...

Montezuma Castle

On our way to Sedona, we decided to stop at Montezuma Castle on the way up. It is right off the freeway, we have passed it so many times on the way to Utah, we have always wanted to stop, but never have. Well we would have stopped a lot sooner if we knew it was RIGHT off the freeway.

Poor girls, good thing they love that stroller, i swear they live in it!!

This was once a 20 room apt building, they call it. It is one of the most preserved Cliff Dwellings in North America. It is over 1,000 years old, they say.

Thatcher....

Rhett and I have been wanting to go to Thatcher, AZ since they finished the temple there. We watched the dedication and it looked beautiful. We also have some family that went to school there, and a friend from there... In between graduation and Rhett starting Residency, we just jumped in the car and decided to go, we could just take turn doing sessions, during nap time=)!!

It was beautiful, they were doing a little work on the grounds, so we couldn't walk all the way around it. But it was still very pretty, very small and very much in the middle of nowhere!!

The girls just barely started walking the day before we left and they were so glad to be out of the car moving around, they walked around this planter box forever... it was the perfect height!!

It was a very cute little town... Thank you Britney for recommending the Mexican restaurant!! It was delicious!!!

Graduation!!

Well, the day came and went and well.... We made it!!! Rhett FINALLY graduated from Medical School!! Yay, Hooray!! I am so proud of him.... He has worked so hard the last four years! And now it is on to Residency!!

Rhett's Dad is a Dentist, so it was really neat, to have his dad "Hood"him.

Rhett's grandparents were so nice to come all the way from Utah to celebrate. They really made a huge effort, and a few sacrifices to be able to come. We are so grateful they were here to celebrate.

The whole crew... Rhett's parents, My parents, the grandparents, Rhett's brother, My brother and his wife and our cute nephew. We were so excited to have so much support. Our families have been so supportive while we were in school.

I am so sad to see all of our friends moving on!! It is such an exciting time, but sad too. Most of us will probably never live in the same place again. These girls have become my second family here in Az.

We aer excited for all of them to start residency, but so sad to see our friends go...

Grandma Frei surprised the girls with these cute little outfits for Valentines Day... I am such a sucker for anything with a tutu!! So it was the perfect chance for a photo shoot!! The girls are about 8.5 months now... time goes by fast!!

Daddy was doing such a good job at making them laugh...

Oh-uh... i think they are about done at this point!!

Just so you know... Cozette on the right, is laughing, not crying, she was laughing so hard at whatever Rhett was doing behind the camera!!

At about 3 months old... one of our photographer friends came from St. George and she was nice enough, and patient enough to grab some incredible shots of our girls!! It was exactly what we were looking for and she did such a great job!!

Getting them both to sleep, especially in this position was such much work!! But they look so precious... Cozette was so tired she passed out, exactly how she looks, legs dangling and all we didn't even have to pose her!!

Still can't believe we were able to get both babies looking at the camera and awake at the same time!! And to have daddy home from his busy rotation to take them!! We took this photo at about 10 p.m. Our photographer was so nice to come patiently wait for the girls to be good so we could get some shots.

Bath Time

Here are the girlies getting their first real bath!! Cozette, just loved it!! She did not enjoy getting what little hair she has washed... but as soon as we set her in the water, she immediately stopped crying!!

Klara, on the other hand, did not enjoy her hair being washed, nor did she like the bath!! She screamed the ENTIRE time!!

Here is Cozette at about 5 weeks... still loving her Bath Time!!

And Klara has finally learned to love the warmth of the bath also... Thank goodness!!

Whew!! We have been so busy... this post is so past due!! Here are our girlie's at 3 weeks... so adorable!! Klara on the left, Cozette on the right... they couldn't be more different and we LOVE it!!

I have become very good at picking up and setting girls down with one hand... so when they are both crying i can hold them both... i am feeling pretty talented.

At 8 days old, we made our first trip to Target!! We were quite successful... we had to do two bottle feedings, GG (Grandma Hansen) got very good at shopping and feeding. And i mastered pushing a stroller and pulling a cart at the same time. We felt quite accomplished and VERY tired after our Target trip.

Welcome to our new life!! This picture shows what Rhett and I do about every 2-3 hours!! And when Daddy is gone, Mom has learned to feed the girls at the same time on her own... quite a complicated process with newborns!! We love when Dad is home to help!!

Here is our little Klara, wide awake and sporting her Gemini onsie... Gemini is the sign of the "twins," a little ironic don't you think???

Little Miss Cozette, She loves her bouncer so much that Grandma Frei was nice enough to buy us a second bouncer, so that sister could have a turn!!!

We have been lucky enough to have LOTS of visitors, Thank you everybody!! Uncle Burke only lives a half hour away, so he has been nice to come check on us several times!!

My Grandma and Aunt Becky drove ALL the way from Orange County to meet the girls!! I still can't believe that they did that.... so nice of them!!

GG--- (Glam Gram) as my mom and nephew call her...was nice enough to come and spend a whole week cooking and cleaning and not sleeping for the four of us. My poor mom stayed up 24/7 with the girlie's!! So i could do some recovering....

Here is a picture of Grandma Frei with our baby girls... she was so nice to come and spend a whole week, also!!! Grandma Frei also pulled the 'night shift' for us... Needless to say both Grandma's left in need of a very LOOOONG nap!!

We so appreciate all the help, everyone has given us!! We just love our little girlie's!!

May 28th, 2010.... Today is the Day!!! Here is a photo of the Rhettser and I while we wait in Triage for the nurse... So excited to meet our little girls!!

Final Belly Shot... once again, excuse the k-ankles!!!

The surgery went great... I will spare you the gory pictures and gory details!! We went in at 5:30 the surgery was scheduled for 7:30 and to our surprise the doc and the anesthesiologist showed up at 7:20!! Klara Kaye was born at 8:04 and Miss Cozette De An came out at 8:05!! Their little screams were so precious!!

We were so lucky to have both of our parents drive all the way from SG just to meet the girls for the day!! Here are the Grandma's!!!

We also had Rhett's brother, Uncle Burke there, he was nice enough to take the day off and come meet his new nieces!! Yes, i look out of it, I was shaking in surgery so bad the doctor had to put me all the way out after i met the girls, to finish up... I am such a wimp!!!

Here is a picture of our new family, before we headed home... man we were glad to get out of the hospital!! We feel so lucky that both girls got to come home with us right away!! They have been so healthy, no jaundice, no colic, we feel so blessed!! And we are loving our new little family!!

35 weeks....

Yes... just when you didn't think i could get ANY bigger.... I DID!!! I am officially toting around a 30 pound bowling ball. At least that is what it looks and feels like...

This is me at 35 weeks and 4 days.....

These last few weeks have been a little miserable, i am not going to lie. Most of my pregnancy, minus the 8 weeks of sickness, has not been too bad though, i actually feel like i have had a pretty easy twin pregnancy. So i feel quite lucky...

But now i am feeling a little top heavy.

I cant see my toes, or my belly button for that matter.

I think i grunt every time i sit, rollover, put on my pants, get in the car, do the dishes, bend over.. Pretty much everything I do takes my breath away lately.

I think if one more person says, "Wow, you must due soon!!??" I might clobber them and sadly most of these comments come from women--- hello, lady have YOU been pregnant before??

I think last night alone i got up to go to the bathroom at least 7 times, and i only slept for 6 hours

I cant reach anything that is not within elbow to hand length because the belly gets in the way.

I am sore, my tummy feels like one big black and blue bruise!!

In other none complaining news...

I think we are definitely feeling ready for these babies!! Mentally and physically!!

We set up the swing and the bouncers last night... sadly we had to also read the instructions on how to use our car seats, the bases are seriously confusing. The house is just about clean, my bag is packed, the cameras charged, their tiny clothes are washed.

We are so excited to meet them and see their little faces!!

We were originally scheduled to have them on June 7th... but we went to the doctor 2-3 weeks ago and the babies were already measuring 5 1/2 pounds!! Holy big babies!!! So the doctor determined we were definitely NOT going to make it until June 7th... so now we are scheduled to have them Friday!! We are so excited... and i think nervous... all at the same time!!

Now.. if we could seriously settle on names... i think we will be ready!!!

Nursery Makeover!!!

The hubby and I have an extra bedroom... but since we have lived in the same apartment for two years.. it has become an office/study/scrapbook/guest/storage/closet room. So needless to say before these babies could arrive we needed to do a little cleaning out and a little re-organizing. Luckily i LOVE organizing, so it was kind of fun... plus to see the before and after is always fun!!

So, here is a few before pic.'s- This is one side of the room, the walls are kind of funny as you can tell, which will make it interesting for crib placement, but we will figure it out=)!! In this shot there was plastic table that i used for scrapbooking and it was against the right wall. But i already took that down, and it is hiding under the sofa-- i also at this point had just about finished my paper scrapbooking and already given some of my supplies away...

Which feels so good i might add!!

Here is our desk, i know it is HUGE, i wish we had something slimmer. But it functions for now.... You can see i have tons of decor up and then a shelf thing to the side. Not sure where i was going to put all this stuff???

Well, our neighbor came over and helped us move the desk to the bedroom... which actually fits decently well... and the shelf thing on the left is from
Ikea and i moved IT to the closet.

Here is the bathroom... i wasn't planning on doing much with the bathroom... but then my mom came to visit and well... you will see in a sec!!

I have been collecting baby stuff since we found out about these two... and so this shelf in the closet has become storage for all the clothes and diapers i have stocked up on... So it definitely needs to be cleaned out, so i can see what i have!

I am so embarrassed this closet looked decent at one point, but as soon as i decided that i was going to clean it out, everything has just been thrown in there, so it is a disaster... and sadly, this picture is taken after i worked on it a little bit.

So, after i got back from Utah, the closet was the first thing i reorganized... it was driving me baddy!! I used the weird shelf thing to put storage boxes on, to store the babies clothes, because the bedroom has NO room for a dresser. And it has actually worked out perfect... so here is the closet now. A little better don't ya think??

So this was our living room for the month of February... and part of march!! I ordered the cribs when they went on sale, so they sat in our living room for a while, til we had room and time to put them together.

I think we were starting to get sick of them in the living room, because Rhett convinced his friend to help us put them together one day when they came home for lunch. Poor Andy didn't know that we was going to spend his lunch break building things!!

Luckily Andy has done this before so it made Rhett's job A LOT easier... they got one crib set up in half hour!! Sweet!! And luckily Rhett did the other by himself quite quickly the next day...

So here is the room with the cribs, and the futon, which is staying in the room btw. Having the cribs up made us realize we are going to be parents VERY soon!!!

As you can see things are a little tight with TWO cribs, but they make great storage for now!!

Another room before pic., well before the nursery makeover...

So after we came home from Utah and Lake Havasu my mom came to visit for a week!! It was so great to have her here and have her help get ready for these littles!! So here we are putting the bedding together, after we had taken everything off the walls.

number 1-- my feet and calves were swollen to like 5 times their normal size, i look like the marshmallow man

number 2-- we were laughing so hard because as soon as we went to lay the mattress down, the springs on the bed fell... good thing we tested it out before we put the children in there!! So rhettser made a few adjustments and now the beds are a little more stable!!

Here is mom and I with a few of our fabulous finds!! I think we hit up every Ross, T.J. Maxx and Hobby Lobby in the North and West Valley's... in fact most of them we hit twice.. okay maybe three times. Every time Rhett would call, it seems would always be Hobby Lobby!!

We love that place!

So here is one wall that is right by the closet... when they start walking we are probably going to have to move this dresser. But for now we need the storage. We stuck with the pinks, greens and purple from the fabric and went with a New York to Paris theme. Mom is quite creative when it comes to decorating. Mom gave me that pink lamp months ago, and I LOVE it... it is so girlie!!

Here is one wall, with one crib, sorry the lighting is really bad. You can see the lamp to the left, and the futon still fits!! Oh and I am loving the chandeliers!!

Here are the curtains... this is our proudest moment i think. The curtain rods are paper towel holders, half off from hobby lobby, but they added height to the elevated ceiling. And the curtains were a steal at target for $4!!! This is one of my favorite parts... and Rhett's too.

Plus i can reuse those later for lots of things!!

Here is the other funky wall, with the other crib. The shelf was already there... and well it is pretty much stuck there so we just left it and added a little fabric to the front, so it wasn't SO black. I LOVE the flower vase it was a steal on clearance at Home Goods and I love it!!! Well i just love it all, Mom truly spoiled us and it turned out great!!

And the bathroom... like i said i wasn't going to the change bathroom much. But i let mom have a free for all and it turned out so cute!! It is our guest bathroom, so it is a little pink for guests... but I think it is great and bright and happy, and we used a lot of stuff from the decor at my showers in Utah.

Who left the toilet seat up??

Anyways... there you go... I am loving it!! And will probably love it more after i spend some time in their with our girlie's!! Thanks, Madre!!

32 weeks!!

Do i look huge?? 32 weeks and counting!! I am just now starting to get uncomfortable.... and going to the bathroom A LOT at night... not fun. But the babies are healthy and strong and we are super excited!!!

Projects...Projects...and more Projects

I have had SO, SO many projects i have wanted to get done before these babies come and i have just conquered them all... First off was the bumpers for the cribs... I originally thought that they were going to be really hard, but they weren't as bad as I thought... Until Rhett's mom kept reminding me to DOUBLE everything, because we have two babies and two cribs. Sometimes i forget, and so that made the task a LOT harder!!

I really wanted to use the fabric for the ties, because it was just so dang cute.... but if i were to do it again, i would just use ribbon and save myself like 6 or 7 hours!! Rhett's mom was nice enough to come to Phoenix and help me finish all the ties... Here is my ironing board, we had to iron all four edges of each 1.5 inch tie and then sew around the edges. Holy cow, and guess how many we had?? 48 yep that is right 48....

This picture doesn't do the pile justice, it was pretty high!!!

Here are the girlie's(no we don't have names) quilts. Rhett's mom worked hard to get these done for us. They turned out beautiful and i kept 2nd guessing my fabric choices but i love all the colors that i chose even more once i saw them together!! Thanks Patty!!

You can also see my little crib skirt on the bottom. I just finished these the other day, and i am quite proud because i didnt have a pattern or the internet to look up HOW to make them... so i just made it up myself, and well it turned out exactly how i wanted! I am not going to lie, i am quite proud of myself!!

Here are the finished crib bumpers for Baby A. The bumpers on the long sides of the cribs are the same for both cribs. But for the short side i used pink for this crib...

And baby B has green bumpers on the ends. Each quilt also has the same fabric as each of the end bumpers. One is green and white and one is pink and green on the back.

I also LOVE the piping at the top!! I really wanted piping, but we couldn't find the right size or color. So, Rhetts mom ended up teaching me how to make my own piping and love the extra pop it gives it! Sadly again i kept making it more complicated, poor Rhett's mom, but i had a vision... so i created a little more work for us but i love them!!

Rhett and I love minky blankets!! They are so soft and very cool in the summer. So i just wanted the girls to have a soft, cool, minky blanket. The others i made are quilted, large, and have badding so they will be mostly winter blankets and ill probably use them when they get older more. These are light and fluffy. I love that the fabric is the same pattern, just different colors. And the hubby was happy to finally see very little pink!!

A LONG, LONG time ago i came across this memory game that someone made on their blog. They used pictures of their family, but i thought why not make a Book of Mormon memory game. So, i have had the supplies FORever, so i finally finished it. I am quite happy with how it turned out!!

My mom came a couple weeks ago and helped me finish the nursery(pics to come) and we decided to refinish this lamp that i had. We saw a lamp at T.J. Maxx for $60 with the same idea and thought we can make that...

So we used left over flowers from the baby quilts and made it. I think it turned out pretty good. My mom LOVES it, but maybe i am too critical of myself. Either way it is cute and i love that we incorporated the fabric into the lamp.

I knew eventually i would need a hair bow holder... in fact this hair bow holder is already full, i just took a pic before i put all their bows and flowers on there!! I found this cute, cute cork board frame at Hob Lob for 50% off, of course!! I love it, and i know i can reuse it even 10 years from now. So, that makes me love it even more. So i covered it in fabric and ribbon and Viola!

I love it!! Now if i can just figure out how to organize these hair bands??? Any suggestions??

Arizona Shower...

We have had so much going on lately!! I am still playing catch up!!

When we got home from Utah and Lake Havasu... my friends Sara and Carlie were nice enough to throw me a baby shower in Arizona. And our friend Kristy was nice enough to let us borrow her home!! It was fun to get together with the girls in AZ. Most of our husbands are students together and any excuse to get together is always fun!!

Sara and Carlie did such a great job with the decorations, the theme was "Babies Gone Wild." Sara made this cute sign that said "Baby Girls" with Zebra paper.... They also wrapped these water bottles in wrapping paper and stickers that said "Born to be Wild..." I on the other hand am hoping they are NOT wild, but i guess we will find out!!!

They also made two diaper cakes... because their are two babies... which i thought was VERY creative and quite thoughtful!! They also had a tree that they spray painted black white and pink and people could write down their advice and then hang it on the tree. Most of the advice said "take advantage of rest right now." Should i be worried??

Here is the food table, thanks to all the girls that helped bring food and contribute to the shower!!!

I know i didn't post any pictures of the guests!! But thanks to all my friends that came and to the ones that hosted it... we played some wonderful games... Carlie even called Rhett and asked him some parenting questions... it was pretty funny, and Rhett is a good sport!! Thank you again, it was PERFECT!!

Hansen Shower...

Well, i felt so spoiled while i was in SG!! My Mom and my two SIL's threw me a wonderful shower while i was home. Here is a picture of My Dad, my brother JorDan and I... this is AFTER the party, they showed up just in time for cake!!

Here we are all of us girls!! They did such a wonderful job on the shower... it all turned out so great!!

Kylee made me the cutest diaper cake... i LOVED all the ribbon! She wrapped bottles of soap and lotion and onsies and spoons and pacifiers throughout the whole thing, so cute, thanks Ky!!

This present was wrapped in an Easter bag that looked like a dog, it was so cute!! Our friend wrapped onsies, and baby powder and other gifts inside... so creative!! In the background you can see the babies quilts and 1 of the bumper pads.... they are turning out so cute!

My mother ordered this very, very yummy butter cream cake!! It was so delicious.. and so beautiful to look at!!! It even matched the colors of the girls quilts.

Seriously, doesn't it look delicious!! Thanks Mom...

Amy arranged homemade flower vases throughout the whole house, it was so pretty. This is our entryway, mom was so cute and made sure the whole house looked girlie... she even redecorated the bathroom so it was in pinks and greens!!

My SIL's planted little boxes throughout the shower, one for people to fill in their own envelopes, and one for baby names(yes, we still dont have names).

Kylee also organized this cute little, hair bow table. So the guests could make headbands for the girls and send them home with me. Such a cute idea! She also made little tags that the guests could hook onto the headband, so i would know who made them. It was wonderful to come home with SO SO many hair bows!!

The girls and mom gave me some very cute outfits... so i opened them before the shower and then they hung them from clothespins for decoration. Such a good idea!

Thanks Mom and girls for all your hard work!! It turned out so wonderful!!

29 Weeks!!!

Here is the Rhettser and I at the London Bridge in Lake Havasu City. After I left St. George, i headed to Havasu to spend the week with Rhett.

It was so beautiful, the weather was perfect, we got to enjoy a little Spring Break action in Havasu (j/k), we almost made an appearance and went to the Warren G concert just because we didn't have much going on... but then the security guard made us feel silly when he looked at my belly and said, "Oh no, your not going to the concert, are you??" Well, we didn't tell him that we were bored and we thinking about it.... but after that comment, we opted for a walk on the bridge instead!!

And here is a Belly shot for ya...

29 weeks!! I know I'm huge!!! Starting to feel so tired, i think i have been taking two to three naps a day!! But other than a little, okay a LOT, of heartburn i am feeling great!! Oh, also minus my marshmallow feet... note for my next pregnancy... take a picture of your feet BEFORE you get pregnant... because i am just starting to think i have always had large toes and Cankles!!! The swelling never goes down!!

Conference & Easter!!!

Rhett is on a rotation in Lake Havasu City this month... so while he is there i decided to head up to St. George for a couple weeks. Since it was Easter and Conference Rhett drove up from the Lake to spend the weekend with me-- oh and our families!! My little brother JorDan graduated from high school early and we were so excited for him, so we drove up to my parents Race Track in Cedar to celebrate!!

It took Rhett and I a couple hours and some serious coaxing, to convince my Dad into letting me ride on the four-wheeler. He is just looking out for the babies... i hope=)!! But after a while he gave in, and i insisted Rhett was a safe driver... Rhett's mom has been working so hard to finish the baby quilts for us. I helped... um... a little... but during conference we had to hand stitch the binding. Rhett's mom finished hers in one session. I had finished one side in one session, pathetic i know, so by the last session of conference Rhett decided to help hand sew the binding!!! I think he felt bad for me, and so did is mom, because then all 3 of us sat there and binded the same quilt!!

After the binding lesson (good sport honey!!), we ran over to my families for some Easter dinner!! We had both the grandmas there... Grandma and Grannie on the right.

After a fun, very, very hard egg hunt my dad set up for us, our friends the Woodcocks stopped by. We have been friends with them since we moved to Utah. They have two kids who are the same age as my brother Kyle and I. So we grew up together... and i don't think we have recent picture of us... so for our facebook pages, j/k, we had to take a photo.

And of course our family Easter photo.... my parents thought it would be so funny to take a picture with EVERYone looking pregnant!! So they all were good sports and stuffed pillows in their tummy's, well except Kyle, he stuffed something else as you can tell. Another pregnancy moment he wanted pointed out!! We are missing my little nephew Aiden in this one... but for a few poses he was insistent that he had a pillow under his belly too!! He kept walking around trying to find something to put up his shirt like everyone else!!

I think they make me look skinny... how about you???

Frei Family Shower

Rhett's friends and family were so nice to hold a shower for me while i was in St. George this month. Rhett's mom's good friend Barb, with some help from some neighbors, through me a wonderful baby shower.

Barb made this cute diaper cake!! It had "two" cute little bunnies on top, with lots of pacifiers, spoons, onsies, and socks tucked inside all the diapers... very cute!!

Botanical Gardens.....

A couple of weeks ago, the Johnson's and The Frei's headed to the Phoenix Botanical Gardens. Rhettser and I feel like we need to get our arizona tourism done and out of the way, cuz i have a have a feeling in about 7-8 weeks we wont be leaving the house much!! Here is Brooke and I in a lovely little umm... desert landscape thing... Dont you thin she makes me look skinny??? j/k

It was definetly worth the trip, it was beautiful!! However i would only reccommend it in the winter!! It was even a little toasty in March!!

I have been so BAD about blogging!! I wanted to post a picture monthly... but this is as close as i am going to get!!! I am almost 25 weeks... And Sorry but you are only get a belly shot.. because i have foils in my hair and i though I would just spare you from looking at that!!

I am HUGE, i know, dont tell me twice, seriously where did this belly come from?? One of the girls i work with put it correctly yesterday....

My clients says, "Wow, i didn't even know she was pregnant!! She didn't look pregnant 6 weeks ago..??"

My co-worker says,"Ya she pretty much exploded that last couple weeks."

Oh dear!!! I would hurt her with my hands, if they werent so swollen and cramped all the time... and if i hadnt known her for two years, and besides who can blame her for being honest???

Really, i dont even recognize myself.. the Doctor said the babies are measuring 1 lb. and 11 oz. and 1 lb. and 12 oz.!! Also passed my blood glucose test...(the hubby thought it would be a no go-the way i lurve my sugar fixes, so he was little surprised with the results.. but that is between me and the blog and the millions that read this). I asked the doc if i was measuring big(cuz' i feel huge) and he says, tape measure in hand, "NOPE, right on schedule for twins!!" I am not sure what answer i was hoping for, but for some reason that didnt make me feel better. I do love my ultrasound appts though!! Just to see that they are doing good and moving around, makes me so happy!!

Meanwhile, my MIL got me a sewing machine for Christmas, (i know, when i told my mom she about went through the roof, then she went through the roof again when i told her i actually WANTED one...) So, this past month i made these burp cloths... I made a couple that are normal burp cloth size and then a couple that still contour to your shoulder but they are longer... I can't tell you how many times babies spit up over my shoulder and it just drips ALL the way down your shirt.. so i am hoping to prevent that (a little) with the extra length????

I had leftover fabric.. so i made some matching pacifier clips too... just cuz i couldnt spare to put the scraps in the trash... and i have a feeling pacifier clips are going to be like shoes and purses... One for every outfit!!

I also made TWO car seat cover blankets, tents, I am not sure what they are called these days.. but i am pretty proud. It took me FOREVER... but they turned out cute.. i even made a ruffle for the outside of them... I want to put some flowers on them, with the same material as the ruffle... but for now they are done and washed and i need a break from the sewing machine!!

This is an up close of the fabric, one has polka dots on back, the other stripes, but they are the same colors. And one is pink with paisleys, the other lime green with paisleys...

They turned out good... but dont look to close, it was my first project!!

Rhett's parents came for a visit a couple weeks ago and we made these bad boys, okay, okay THIS was my first project, but Patty was there to help, so that didnt count, but i am also proud again, because these are minky... ever sewed minky?? Not so fun... ever sewed strips of minky together and made binding with left over minky fabric?? Yep, that is right, HARD, sadly to say i did mess up a little, Rhetts mom had to finish the binding on my quilt, my feet were a little large from all the sewing. But they are super cute!! And they are little bigger so they can use them when they are older too. So cute, thanks Patty!!!

Well, i according to the doc. i could only have 11 weeks left, or less. So we finally purchased these cute little things... Yes, we purchased two... Good thing Babies 'R' Us had a free shipping sale. They both arrived this week. I LOVE them they are cream in color and I cant wait to have the hubby set them up in a couple weeks, After he is done at the VA hospital... this rotation feels like surgery ALL over again. Not fun, poor guy hasnt had a day off in 12 days after tomorrow!! He looks sooo tired!! But shh... again between me and you and the blog-o-sphere.

So CUTE!! I also picked my fabric!! There are quite a few that i used and ill show you why, after i make the crib bumpers and their quilts in a few weeks... Actually, bless Rhett's moms heart, her and her best friend got together in St. George and sewed, and quilted BOTH baby quilts in one day!! Seriously, any ideas on how to repay them?? I cant believe it!! So nice of them, so now i just have to help finish them on my next trip up there... I still cant believe that her best friend did one of them!! I think i got a 2 for 1 MIL package when i married Rhett... i feel so lucky and i can't WAIT to see them!!

So here they are, lime greens, baby pink(of course) and some very, very deep purples to break it up a little!! The fabric is by MODA, it is called Eva, i am thinkin' i will love it forEVA!! Thanks to my friend Whitney for taking me to the cute fabric shops!! And to Hillary for introducing me to MODA... love their stuff!!

This one below looks real pink, but actually has a lot of cream in it... they all are kind of creamy, perfect for the cribs!!

What is new with the Frei's...

Well, we have had a busy couple weeks!! Rhett is FINALLY done with his OB rotation... and has moved on to internal medicine. We are loving the hours and the doctors... and his wife is so glad to have him home at a decent hour!! In between rotations my family came again!! And this time they brought this little guy......

My brother and his wife and my cute little nephew stayed at our house for the weekend!! It was so fun to have almost the whole family in town-- we missed you Kyle and Kylee!!

In other news... we went to see a specialist for an ultrasound on our little's!! Sometimes we like to think of them as Muffy & Buffy... but only for now... and only because we have NO other names we like!! Ugh any good baby name sites, send them my way=)!! Both babies look great and growing strong we are so happy, i cant wait for them to get here!! Well, actually i can-- because we have just about nothing for them!! I have however purchased a double stroller--- I know your thinking that is a weird first purchase, but it was on way, way clearance... and it was the one i really wanted... and well if i can save $80 bucks why not??

Now i am on to nursery theme's.... i am thinking Shabby chic, meets a little retro motif?? But who knows... i am also thinking lime green and pink and maybe a little gray?? But i will probably change my mind... i am pretty sure the pink is a stable color right now though. So now it is on to my fabric choices!!

Also... went to the doc today and he said i was measuring right on, not sure if that is a relief or not... because i FEEL HUGE!! It seems like it grows an inch everyday!! I still don't think it has totally set in... i just feel super bloated all the time.. what a weird feeling. Probably wont post lots pic's of the belly but the sisters have been asking=)!! Here i am at 2o weeks!!

So, my parents came to town this last weekend for a race... and i didnt get any picures of the actual race... because long story, my Dad raced, got a concusion and Rhett and I sat in the hospital with him most of Saturday.... but he was fine a few hours later--- and so that night we headed to SuperCross down at the Diamondback Stadium!!

Here is a picture of the parents... needless to say my Dad was a little sore, and quite tired... but he was a trooper! We had so much fun, thanks Mom and Dad!!

Here is the Hubb-ster and I!! We havent ever been to the diamondback stadium, i think it is the nicest baseball stadium ever built-- and they also had some wonderful junk food... which is my favorite part!!

Well Rhett turned the big 2-8!! So we celebrated with Burke, by going to the Cheesecake Factory!! Poor Rhett worked about 14 hours that day at the Maricopa Hospital... so he was a little tired... plus still had to go home and prepare a presentation for work... so it wasnt too exciting of a birthday... we didnt even open presents until two days later, that is how busy he has been!!

So, due to the lack of excitement... I made the waitress get some of her girlie friends to sing to him, to his dismay.... And how cute is he?? He even gave me a little posey-pose for the camera- that doesnt happen often!! Does he look a little red too you?? j/k

Well, I went to the Doctor today and he snuck me into the ultrasound room real quick to see if we could figure out the sex of our babies!!! We were pretty sure already that one of them is girl.... but the results are in--- and looks like we are, for sure, thinking PINK!!!!

We are so excited!!! Guess i better start thinking of nursery themes, and fabric for bedding!! Any suggestion's??????????

I am about just past 15 weeks, finally over morning sickness... and well i still dont know if this has officially set in for either one of us!! We are really excited and maybe a little nervous at the same time... but we couldnt be happier!!

Well, not much to update lately... we are a little boring... plus life is flying by now that rotations have started. I feel like our lives and our days are set up in four week increments. It is a little hard to get use to, but it also makes time fly!!

Rhett finally has had one or two semi-easier rotations these last two months... so we were able to go to dinner with some friends at this yummy Mexican restaurant by the cardinals stadium!!

We also went to this cute little park that is down the street from our house and took some family pictures... I really needed a Christmas card pic... so we will see which i use... My girlfriend Carlie and her husband took them for us.. they did a great job... considering we are all amatures!!

Thanks Carlie... oh and Ryan!! I really want to post pics of our recent trip to New York.. but my sis-n-law has most of the cute ones... so updates on that are to come!

Beware... Long post too follow... and picture overload...

Here are the boys, just about to board the subway... when we went to see the 9-1-1 memorial. Do they look cold??

Yay!! The whole reason we started out on this journey to New York!! We were so lucky, my mom received tickets for my whole fam. to attend the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!! I have ALWAYS wanted to go... I watch it every year on T.V. Needless to say, i was super excited!!!

Here are a few of my favorite floats!! They brought back the Spider man float, i guess it hasn't been out for a few years.

Here is JorDan and I before Thanksgiving Dinner!! We ate at this very cool restaurant right on a lake in Central Park, it was called the Boathouse. We tried to take pictures inside but it was too dark...

Rhett and I at dinner... i love turkey and mashed potatoes!!!

After dinner we walked down to Times Square, it was only a few blocks from our hotel, it was perfect. There were so many lights down there, it felt like 1- in the afternoon!! They also had tons of shops that were open til midnight on Thanksgiving Day. It was crazy!!

We were so lucky, because it really wasn't too cold while we were there. We still wore our jackets, but it wasn't that bad. Minus black Friday, at which day the wind would not stop blowing!!

They had the funniest Charmin Bathroom Stop in Times Square. We went up just to check it out... We had to go up this huge escalator, and then we got up there, they had a DJ that was interviewing people before they went into the stall, and they were playing music. They also had a huge toilet were we could take advantage of a photo op!!!

Then they had these computers, where you could LITERALLY RATE YOUR GO! It was so funny. They also had a CAN-fessional, with a camera in small room so that you could talk about your experience. Kylee and I thought it was quite comical... mi wish i could have recorded the DJ he was pretty funny.

On our last day there, we rented bikes and rode them around Central Park. It was so fun!! It was very hilly and about 6 miles to go through the whole park, but it was so beautiful and the weather was awesome!!!

We walked up to Belvedere Castle and took some pictures, it was pretty cool to walk around inside of it, i think it was originally a look out tower.

The whole time we were there... my brother Jayson was searching everywhere for some New York Style Pizza and a Dunkin Doughnuts. Well, ill be honest and say we ate at about 4 different Dunkin Doughnuts... we love those French Doughnuts!!! And then we ate at this awesome hole in the wall Pizza Place that was right by our hotel, I think we ate there two or three times. It was so yummy!! And so tiny!! The 9 of us practically took up all the tables in the restaurant!!

A little update on the hubby...

So between crazy rotations, long drives to those rotations, elders quorum and studying.... The hubby has found a little bit of time for play!! The last couple weeks Rhett has been playing on a city league Basketball team... The boys put together a team that consisted of a bunch of boys from Southern Utah... oh and Todd McClenaghan... we let him be on the team because.... ummm... he is thinking about moving to Southern Utah (he-he)j/k... Here are the boys after one of their final games...

A couple of weeks ago, Rhett headed back to the SG for a very quick 3 day trip to go hunt for some deer!! I was sad i had to stay home and work, i really wanted to see the fall leaves change, so Rhett took this picture so that i wouldn't miss out...

I guess it is better than any of the trees in Arizona!!

Well after the first day he didn't have a deer... so i was thinking he would come home empty handed... But don't you worry!! He didn't disappoint!!! A couple hours before he was suppose to hop on a plane he caught this little guy!! Poor little deer never saw it coming... Good job Honey!!

Rhett's parents were nice enough to pay a us visit the other week!!! We were excited to finally show them where we live and where Rhett goes to school. It was so nice of them to come see us!!

Rhett and Burke showed them all over Phoenix... including taking them on hike up Camelback!! Rhett said the views are beautiful and the hike was pretty long... too bad i had to work (wink, wink)!!!

Laguna Beach

Back in September Rhett's mom planned a girls trip to Laguna Beach... This is an annual tradition for the ladies of the Frei Family... but since Rhett's parents have been in Brazil-- practically since we have been married, this is the first year i was able to go!!! It was so beautiful!! Here is a picture of the view off of our hotel balcony. This was taken on the morning we were leaving... it was so beautiful, and the three days we WERE there it was super foggy until about 3 in the afternoon... But, we still got plenty of sun and a had a great time!

Our Hotel was so awesome, they had towels and chairs down at the beach for their guests everyday!

We saw this guy out on the pier with LOTS and LOTS of birds... Grandma Bonnie really wanted to see them, so the owner of the birds said "No, no, you dont just look at them..." And then he started placing the birds all over these three!! The bird in the middle pooped on Grandmas head... and the bird on the left bit Bevin!! The whole event was pretty entertaining!!

Well, a few weekends ago, we were lucky enough to have my parents come visit. My little Brother JorDan had another Race out in Surprise, Rhett and I both had the day off so we spent most of Saturday out there!! It was so great to see them... We are lucky enough to have them come for Races pretty often, and i ALWAYS forget to take pictures... so this is the best i got...

I actually love this one of Rhett and my Dad for some reason... And below my parents contemplate about the race with my little bro!! Good job Jor!

Well, Rhett finished Surgery and moved on to his Primary Care Rotation... and i couldnt e more excited for the better, well at least a little more normal hours!! During the quick two day semi-break he had, we headed to the temple, and of course Cafe Rio!!

Well, we FINALLY hiked Thunderbord mountain the other morning. Yes, that is right we have lived here for two years and never hiked the wonderful beautiful mountain that is half a mile from our house. Now we regret we didnt do it more!! The view is gorgeous(minus the early morning smog) you can see all the way to downtown phoenix, all the way to the stadium and even most of surprise. Gorgeous views, if you havent hiked it yet!! Excuse the pic. we literally rolled out of bed to go...

The Frei's are going GREEN!!!!

Since, we have been home from Utah, it seems we have been seriously busy!! Rhett is his Surgery rotation... and life couldn't be more lonely!! He is gone so much-- i feel so bad for him, just looking at him i feel tired!! But today is the last day(YAY!!! shout from the roof tops, get surgery out of here, and never let me return until next year!!).
BTW-- for you future surgery rotater wives out there, my hubby left at 530 this morning(no exaggerating) and it is 6:15 and guess who is still not home?? When Rhett went on the first day, he asked the intern

"So, what is my schedule like??"

the Intern replied with, "Be here by six, and when we are done we are done."

Holy Crap!! I haven't decided what is worse on my part, Not knowing WHEN the heck he is coming home, or feeling horrible when it is 7 at night and he is still not home!! Not to mention, i cant talk to him the WHOLE day! AAAHHH... but alas, today is the last day...

So, while Rhettser has been away(so to speak) I have done some re-organizing. Organizing is one of my favorite past times... i know pathetic... sometimes i just pull things out of closets just so that i can reorganize it(how lame o is that, I should get another hobby, but i cant i am addicted to organizing things). So my kitchen cupboards have been driving me crazy, we have these HUGE, very TALL cupboards in our kitchen, wonderful dont you think??? Not so much, our dear wonderful, crazy apt. people only out one shelve in them!! Seriously look how tall they are?? I can stack 2 HUGE cans of oatmeal on top of each other, they are so tall, who has anything that tall in a cupboard??? So i originally bought some shelves and that worked a little. Then i went to our new wonderfully, large, newly remodeled, and added Walmart Supercenter, and found stacking shelves and they work wonders for can storage!! So i bought four and for $20 i saved a little bit of sanity and time when i am in the kitchen, i DONT, repeat dont like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen!! Beautiful, dont ya think???

Also, i have been wanting to spruce up our living room a little, i feel like it needed a little make-over... My friend and i made these cute hanging things that we copied from another friend, who copied them from pottery barn... you make the picture bigger... I love mine, but lately i am way into shelves and picture stacking, so i decided to take down the cute picture hanging thing(i don't even know what to call it, but it is cute) after getting it down.. i decided to ummm... paint!!!

And well the product... Lime green... it was way brighter and lime-y on the walls then i expected... and i thought Rhett was going to flip when he saw the color... and i was a little worried at first but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!!

It is so fun and different and so not WHITE... especially since all our furniture is white... Seriously what was i thinking, a white sofa?? I definitely was not thinking about anything except i wanted micro-fiber and at the time this is the only color i could find!! And do you like my sofa, i have several friends that have the same one, in different colors too!! I am a little jealous... i really wanted a sage green one... but then again if my sofa was green i could have never painted my wall lime green!!! So this is the Frei's way of going green... oh and i do also take my own bags to the grocery store now, so i am trying to do my part.... and really go green....

****By the way... 6:30 now and still no word from the hubby, that means he has been working 13 hours!! So sad!!!****

Fun with the Hansen Fam!!

While we were in Utah, I also got to spend a week babysitting this little guy!! He is so cute!! my Brothers wife was the Stake Camp Director... SO i stayed with my brother and took care of my nephew while he was at work!! It was so fun!! This particular day, my Dad decided to surprise us and took the day off of work to spend it with the two of us....

My mom, is always coming up with great ideas-- and at the last minute she decided to take me and my two sister-n-laws to Mesquite for a girls nite!! It was so nice of her... we laid by the pool... ALL day... and since it was a Tuesday in Mesquite, Nevada, we had the pool all to ourselves!!!

Then we got all dolled up, and headed out-- Some of my mom's friends let us eat complimentary at their fancy restaurant... Then mom gave us $20 bucks, to try our luck at the penny slots!! I had not so much luck, but it was still fun- and of course after our twenty's were spent, we were out of there!! Thanks Mom!!

Lake Powell!!

Rhett's parents friends were nice enough to invite us to stay on their houseboat at Lake Powell, while Rhett was on his Rotation in Utah!! We both grew up out there and we love it so much!! Here is where we stayed, it was such a nice house boat and there only about 15 of us out there, and the weather was SO SO beautiful!!

While we were there the boys did a little of this...luckily there were no injuries...

Rhett caught this, and by the look in his eyes, he is super excited...

Us girls enjoyed A LOT of this.... and did little of anything else... so wonderful!!!

Rhett did a lot of this... we don't get to enjoy the wake boarding as much when we are in school...

The boys also spent FOREVER on this little guy....

All that hard worked payed off... such detail... one of the boys in architectural school-- does it show???

Elk Ranch!!!

Rhetts Dad owns an Elk Ranch and last week he was nice enough to take us up there to stay for the 24th of July!! The weather was so beautiful!! We had so much fun riding four-wheelers, enjoying the scenery and looking for Elk!!

We think that the infamous bark beetle has infested the ranch, because there were quite a few dead trees. Rhett, for some reason was dying to shop one down...but not with the chain saw(yes we had one), but he wanted to do it with an Ax....!!! He and his Dad had to chop almost clear through it-- then they had to give it a big shove before it finally fell over!!

Poor guy had one seriuos blister from all that chopping!! Then he had to go and scrub in to surgery a couple days later--- ouch!!

Here is Rhett and his Mom... We drove the four-wheeler up a huge hill to where the trees don't grow. It was so pretty up there!! You could see all the way to Richfield and beyond. It was so pretty!!

I am doing something weird with my chin... but whatever... we never take pictures together anymore so this will just have to do!! And i felt too bad to ask someone to take it again---

We also drove WAY down to the bottom of the Ranch, to these old Gold mines. They were a little old, and a little rickety so we didnt go inside... but you can see the tracks are still in place...

The miners must have up and left pretty quickly because they left a couple trucks way up in the canyon. Although, the mine was so hard to get to by four-wheeler, that i cant imagine trying to drive a truck in and out of there.

We were a little sad we didnt see too many elk this trip... but we still had a fun time!

So, I now that you are all probably tired of hearing about WICKED but seriously it is amazing!! So, so entertaining and even the hubby LOVED it!! It was funny, serious, easy to understand, i LOVE how they incorporate scenes and characters from the Wizard of Oz!! I am just in love with it!! I want to see it again and fast... i hear they are in San Diego in September---hmmm... maybe we need to plan a girls trip!

Here is the theater that is was at... It was 117 degrees that day btw(seriously). Pretty cool theater huh?? This theater is located at ASU and in November Phantom of the Opera is coming!! I am trying to talk Rhett into it-- but i don't think it is working!! But i would love to see it!! We had awesome seats this time 1st row in the second tier right in the middle!! So now i am spoiled!! But i am hoping by October ill have him talked into it!! I recommend it though because really every seat seems like a good seat in the theater!

We were lucky enough to celebrate my birthday twice this year!! My mom had a BBQ with my siblings and us in SG. The whole family was there. It was good to see all of us together and of course i didn't get a pic. of the whole family I always forget!!!

Here is my mother and I... She always use to get us ice cream cakes on our birthdays when we were kids. So she got this wonderful pralines and creme ice cream cake! Have I told you I LOVE ice cream??

Candles have seriously come a long way since i was a kid.. these candles spell out H-A-P-P-Y
B-I-R-T-H-D-A-Y! I loved them and seriously such a smart idea!

Birthday Celebration #1

Well, my birthday this year was quite eventful!! I had to work on my birthday- bummer, but before i left Rhett had this sitting on our bed. Notice the bow on top and by the way, YES- that is a quilt... this is how he wrapped my birthday present-- he said that it was too big to wrap!! I have to give him some credit for the creativity!!! He gave me the coolest ice cream maker! I am loving it, it doesn't take rock salt or anything and it makes ice cream in about a half hour! I LOVE ice cream, especially when it is 117 degrees out!

I got out of work early on my birthday and Rhett and I headed to SG to attend his parents homecoming. When we got there Rhett's sister and her husband were so excited to show me this cake that they had spent "ALL" Day making. It looked like a Doctor Suess cake-- I loved it!! It even had these cute little candles that were black and white stripes and black and white polka dots, they were so cute! Thanks guys!

You cant see but the frosting started to melt because it was so hot.. and so the cupcakes started to slide off the large cake in the center-- but it slid so perfect, i thought they had planned it that way--- thus making it look like a scene from "Oh the places we will go!"

SO... Sunday we got back from our wonderful trip to Utah--- pictures to come... and we discovered our air was broke. What a wonderful present after being gone for four days, and it was 110 degrees outside!! So at about 830 at night they apartment staff discovered we needed to get a hotel-- perfect, this was right after we had already unpacked all our items.

So we ended up here(see below) at about 930 at night, grabbed some Denny's and fell into bed! But today is Tuesday and the wonderful A/C man is here to replace our old unit-- and we will be good as new!! After two nights of sleepovers in different places and a 4 day vacation-- and ithink i have been about 30 hours in the car in the last week... i am so excited to sleep in my own bed TONIGHT!!!

Well our July 4th.. was quite memorable this year. Rhetts parents came home from their 3 year mission in Brazil, or B-ville as we like to call it!! Sadly, poor Rhett had to work on the day that they arrived at the airport, so we missed that monumental Mormon event. We were pretty bummed- -but so goes the life of a medical student!!!

It was so good to see them, and even better to see them in the US of A!! We spent most of our trip car shopping for them and just hanging out with all of Rhett's siblings and also had several visits from neighbors.

On the Fourth we had a typical american BBQ-- complete with Salmon, corn on the cob and homemade ice cream!! Then we lit some fireworks in the front yard... Rhett and Jeremy were running around like pyro-maniacs' they were so excited while lighting all those fireworks. Here is a pic from the firework festivities!!

Rhett's Rotation...Car Drama...

Well, with white coat and Stethoscope in hand, the Rhett-ser started his first rotation!! He is officially on his way to being a REAL doctor!!

His first rotation is a little crazy the doctor works in like 3 or 4 or maybe 5 different offices. It is really hard to keep track of his schedule, sometimes my hubby comes home at 5 sometimes 4 or sometimes not until like 7 at night! Not to add to the fact that the rotation is about an hour away from our house... so that just adds to the long day factor...

So on the hubby's second day at work, Rhett was hanging out in his office(the doctors, no Rhett doesnt have an office) waiting for the doc. to finish a meeting when the office started to close up and all the nurses started going home and then one lady came in and said "Rhett the doctor wants you to go out to this hospital and see him." It is five o'clock and Rhett drives out to this other hospital and in the parking lot of the 2nd hosptial, this lady backs right into him!!!

Luckily he wasnt hurt, which was my first question when he called... and then asked him-- 'Well did she at least hit the back bumper?' Because our bumper has NEEDED to be replaced for a while, and we almost did it last summer-- but decided not just in case of such an incident as this!! So here is my beautiful green machine, all damaged and broken and not really driveable.... Sad....

I was little upset about the whole ordeal, it took us like two hours to drive it home from the hospital. Yes, i had to follow behind him for most of those two hours. Thank goodness we bought this little baby from some cute missionaries a few weeks ago-- totally spur of the moment i might add. It came in quite handy since we weren't able to get a rental car until today-- because of poor Rhett's work schedule and the hassle of trying to find someone to fix our car in this Huge-normous city of ours.

So hopefully, the rest of his rotation goes well... I think the only benefit of a rotation in Mesa is having Rhett bring home Cafe Rio like at least once a week!! Yum!!!

This past week Rhett and I flew up to SLC to see my parents win the Best of State Award!! It was so awesome because BOTH my parents won for BOTH of their business'. It was awesome.... Here is my my sis-n-law Kylee, my mom, and me at their awards banquet.

Here is The Rhettser and I and my Dad... We WERE taking a picture of the two of us, but my dad is such a jokester that he jumped right while we taking the picture, so i made him stay for a real photo op!!

Here is the fam... we are missing my brother Jayson, his wife and Aiden, and also my Bro. JorDan... they couldn't make it... But Rhett and I did travel to SG for a few days to see the rest of the fam. and poor Rhett locked himself in my moms house while he studied for boards!!!

Finals just finished up a few weeks ago... poor Rhett is feeling a little burnt out.. but he takes his last board on Saturday and I am so excited!! I think i am going to finally have a husband after two years of Medical School!! Good Luck, honey!!!

Help!! Somebody please Help!! My blog is being neglected... and i just cant bring myself to update it!!! I don't know what it is... I am not too busy to update it, seriously blogger is so easy that it is not like it takes time to write a quick post, that says, Hi, its me, were still alive and well, but for some reason i dread updating it!! It might be the lack of unexcitement Rhett and i have had this year... it might be that fact that i feel single with how much my husband has his nose in the books, it might that i am trying to catch up entirely on my scrapbooking so that i can have and excuse to go digital(yes i said (digital scrapbooking)and also eliminate the clutter that all my scrapbooking stuff seems to do, it is starting to drive me crazy!!! But on with it, i do not know why I haven't blogged... but here is a little bit of our life..........

A couple weeks ago my mom came to visit for a few days... and while i didn't get any pictures of the two of us... I never do... i got some pictures of this House we went to visit. It is in Scottsdale and it is the Frank Lloyd House.... It was a little pricey... and a little warm(a lot of the tour is outside), but the tour is an hour and a half, and it was amazing!! If you like stuff like this, you would love the architecture!! And i just love Franks Creative mind!! I mean seriously look at those angles!!! He LOVED triangles!!

Check out this theater room he made, purely for entertaining... It is a theater/dining room and he built it at HIS HOUSE!!! I could just die... maybe i could talk Rhett into one of these one day.... Maybe......

Look at those stairs and the pool(triangle)... I just loved it!!
They actually have an architecture school that is still there.. and the students must build there own house out on the land around the house, and they live in it while they are in school from the month of October to May-- and if you go in the early spring they will give you tours of the mini homes that the students built, they had a couple pictures of these homes, and i am definitely taking Rhett back in the fall to see those!!!

Well... not much to blog about, Rhettser has been studying A LOT.. and i have been working just as much it seems.... Good to stay busy though=). I am however LOVing the weather right now!! And i am enjoying Spring so much that i made this cute sign... so i could brighten our living room a little.. i LOVE spring colors.. i should put more of them in our house... hmmm.... oh and did i tell you i am loving my cricut!! So, a couple days ago i went visiting teaching and one of my friends i visit teach, had this cute little valentines muffin "treat" tin... and she had the idea to make a muffin tin with the twelve days of Christmas.... So i ran home and made it!! I thought it was such a great idea, and i didn't want to forget it, so i just made one a few days later------I think it turned out pretty cute. And then around Christmas time i can put a little treat in each tin, or a little note that says where to find a treat.

Here is a closer look.. without the muffin "Holes" showing. I cant wait to use it NEXT year, or at least display it for that matter!!

Well a couple weeks ago, my parents and my little brother came to stay the night with us. My little bro. had an awards banquet for the his ATV racing and it was down in mesa. It lasted ALL day!! And my little brother was last on the list to get his award. So we literally left around 930 and got home around 6. Just so that you know i am not exaggerating!!

It was definitely worth it though, when JorDan finally got up there, gave his little speech, received an awesome jacket, and a great trophy!! I am so proud of him, he worked really hard this year!! Below is my Dad and I, do we look tired?? This was at the end of the day....

My mom and Dad and i kept busy, with these Raffle tickets... My dad got more than a handful of them(we are such suckers for these kind of things), and every time they would call numbers we would search our tickets, and yes we did win a total of four times i think. It was great entertainment!!! They were also raffling off a truck that JorDan was hoping to win. They had to call out 5 or 6 differnent names, before they actually got someone that was still in attendance... we seriously thought Jor was gonna win... so that entertained for all of about 15 minutes too!!

It was so nice to have them stay!! They also to took Rhett and I to a nice Valentines dinner at Maggiano's!! So Yummy!! My family loves Italian!! Thanks mom, dad and Jor!!!

Okay... so i havent blogged in sooo long that i forgot that i NEED to put the pictures on first and then type my text... so you can read the bottom of this post to understand the pics!!! But a brief explanation.. i have been doing a LOT of cleaning out and re-organizing!! I have taken three bags full of stuff that is junk and taking up space to the DI and i have organized my whole house.. so here are a few pics-- just in case you need organizing ideas!!

We were lucky enough to have some members of our ward donate their still perfect futon to us. We were so excited because we have been looking for a futon or pull out sofa for a while--- and well "Good things come to those who wait" and i am soooo learning this right now....

Side note: I have wanted this book from Deseret Book for a while, like since it came out practically, but i could never bring myself to spend the money on it... so last week-- dont worry it was on sale for 1.99!! No that is not a typo.. it was only $2!!!! It was practically 90% off!!!

Anyway, Here is our futon, and it is a little big.. so i have been re-arranging to fit it in the bedroom.....

I bought this rack at ikea for $20.. i needed some shelves and well this was cheap and sturdy and mod... Might not always be the cutest... but it will do for now and would go kid a childs bedroom one day.. so it was worth the drive to ikea(because i love that place) and investment.... Oh and my mom got me a cricket for christmas... I have used it for scrapbooking, but i need to get some vinyl, cause i am excited to try that!!! I love it!!! I was so excited to have one!!

Here is a creative way that i decided to hang my purses... I had some old shower curtain round hook things, so i hooked them on the rack in the closet and hung my purses from them.. It makes it so much easier to see and it is not just laying all over my cupboard, or on a shelf to hard to reach... So much easier to find when i know which purse i want to use....

Here is all my "hair" supplies... i have everything i need to do hair in these plastic bins and in the black bag next to them... i also have nails, and sewing kits, and small misc. items in the small three drawer bin on the left.

Lastly, i never had a jewelry holder... i had this thing in one of my cupboards that was kind of like a tie rack that i would hang my necklaces and earrings on... but it was hard to see what was on it, and it was pain to hang the items up... so i saw this wall in our closet that had nothing on it, and i brainstormed for a few days, and came up with this, i bought kitchen cabinet knobs at home depot and took some screw eyes and put them in the bottom of the piece of wood... i painted it too... and voila!! I have this awesome, easily accessable jewelry holder, and I wear my fun earrings WAY more often... and my dresser is free of the jewelry clutter!! I seriously am in love with this little invention!!!

So, now here is my "type" that should have been at the top....

So I have to apologize... i have not been blogging for a while... i havent looked at blogs, nor posted on mine.... I am suppose to update my moms every now and again and i have seriously been slacking.... I decided a couple months ago, that i spend toooo much time on the computer.

I would get up and immediately go to the computer and then before i knew i was still in my pjs and three hours had gone by!! (I know you all do this too... so dont judge!!! j/k)

So, i decided that i could get a lot more done if i didnt get on the computer so much!!! And it has been working!! I have deep cleaned and re-organized my ENTIRE house, i have tried some new recipes, i have been making shopping lists(so i am not so flustered or compulsive when i go to the store), i have sent out all birthday cards on time this year, I have done so much scrapbooking-- it is awesome!!! I feel so productive and more energetic...

So i am sorry have not posted, nor commented... i have been reading up on everyone though!!!

So, it was Rhett's Birthday on the 12th! We celebrated it on Sunday, since is birthday landed on a Monday... and the poor guy... had a test at 8- class til 4- and then he had to go downtown to the clinic he visits monthly til 10-such is the life of a med student, so since he was not going to get much of a birthday-- I decided to celebrate it on Sunday!!!

He decided he wanted Cafe Rio for dinner... Which i was not oppose to making!!! So his brother came up and had dinner and strawberry shortcake with us!! Yummy!! Happy Birthday, my love!!

WARNING: lots of pictures to come.

So for Christmas this year we were lucky enough to go to Brazil, for Rhetts parents last Christmas in that crazy country!! We had a blast, Rhett has not seen his dad for about 18 months and so he was ecstatic to go. We were able to spend Rhett's entire break(almost 2 weeks) down there.

F.Y.I: For those that don't know Rhetts parents were called to be mission pres. in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, this was about two and a half years ago... so we are very excited they are almost done-- i cant believe it!!

Alright so to start out-- here are some random Brazilian pictures, Rhett though this Bamboo tree was so cool--- which i am not going to lie, he has good taste, it really was a cool "tree" and this photo does it no justice!! Here is one of the MANY interesting flowers down there, these flowers bloom and open right at the yellowish-green part, they kinda remind me of toucan sam??

Okay, well this country is very strange, and this picture is only the beginning, In Brazil at least in Belo, there are no garbage cans on the street, no dumpsters, no metal bins to put junk in as you wander the streets of the city. So people throw their trash everyWHERE!! Not just ice cream cups, or fast food bags, but huge black trash bags filled with items, from peoples homes, they simply find a pile someone else had started and add to it, or just start one of their own--- So EVERY morning you see these people in orange jump suits cleaning the streets with a broom made of palm tree frawns!! Yes, it is seriously CRAZY!! Now, you think, wouldn't it be cheaper for the city to just to buy a few trash cans and dumpsters and place them strategically throughout the downtown area?? NO, that is WAY to easy for Brazil!!(sarcasm, just in case you missed that)

Here is just a small glimpse of what the downtown looks like, we walked everywhere, because driving is seriously crazy and takes forever because of all the one way streets(example: the mission office is four blocks from the mission home, and you have to drive 12 blocks to get there, because of the roads, so it is FASTER to walk). Notice the sign on the street light, no left turn, no u turn, only straight.

One more crazy thing that happened while we were there, well, lots of things happened, but-- this one is pretty funny... While we were there we just happened to encounter a few problems in the mission home. Rhetts parents live in a very nice apartment/condo, but the craftsmanship and labor of a lot of Brazilian buildings is not the same as the states. So while we were there one of the showers blew up, (yes literally BLEW up, while Rhetts sister was in the shower, smoke and everything-- it was a huge ordeal). While we were getting boxes out of there storage room, that had just been sprayed for bugs, we encountered termites(Ewww, i might add). And on our last day, i was in the shower this time and heard a loud clunk. I thought rhett was just screwing around, but then i get out of shower and the sink had completely fallen through the granite counter top!! I should have taken a photo, it was completely detached from the counter and just resting there on a metal pipe that was under the sink!!

Anyway, we went and bought a shower head, which was a task of its own. And then a few hours later realized it was wrong and we had to return it. So we go inside the store, wait like five minutes for the worker to get off the phone-- then he sends us outside of the building, ALL the way to the back of the building(while it is pouring down rain). Yes, all the way to the back, almost to the equivalent here(the USA) of a loading docks location. We have to return it at this location, and they need ALL of your information. Your address, your name, your social security number, and it took another full five minutes for them to input it into the computer. Then they send us back to the front of the store so we can purchase the NEW shower head. Let me remind you we bought and returned this item on the same day. So the lovely man that has helped on both visits, had already grabbed the new and walks us up to the checkout. Where rhetts mom proceeds to pay and complete the transaction, when the lovely man says (in Portuguese) no you can have it for the same price. Which was only like a $10 difference.
So he takes Rhetts mom to another table and goes in the "office" a few times and then comes back with a full 8x10 printed paper of the new price(not exaggerating this took almost ten minutes). Then she has to go back to the checkout AGAIN to purchase the item for a THIRD time!!
Yes, nuts.. and you thought Wal-mart was bad!! They give you a sticker right when you walk in at least.

Okay here is a picture of us with some crazy looking chickens rhetts mom put in our stockings. They make a loud quacking noise and have candy eggs that come out their bums-- (i thought you would want to know that).

Here is us at church, this branch met in a house. The four extras in the picture are missionaries, just in case you were wondering.

Well, Brazil is hot and humid and it rains a lot, and their is not a lot of tourist-y things to do in this city. So we decided to home make gingerbread on Christmas eve. It took a few hours and three stores, to find all the ingredients but we did it!! That is rhetts brother in the pic. and their maid in the back-- she thought this was a crazy process(as you can tell by her face), and it was, it took almost ALL day.

We also ate at this cool restaurant that was way back in the middle of a neighborhood(typical Brazil). I dont know how you would know it was their unless you were a local. It was all outside and the covering was made of hut type material. It was so cool!! It was raining too, so it literally was raining right next to our table. I had to stand in the rain to take the picture even.

The food is always displayed in the most coolest way, it almost like you pay for the display. And they were on these huge heavy medal skillets, kind of like dennys but bigger. Those long brown things are bananas-- not so yummy.

And not exaggerating this is how they cooked the food...

We went on a hike one day, and you can see all of Belo from the top...

Here is a weird anteater type animal we saw on the hike...

And another weird animal, these are called Capybara. They are a large rodent. They are the size of a large dog and they kind of resemble a large hog. They live by some of the lakes.. they are seriously disgusting- and some people eat them.

Gingerbread...

So.................my mother, last weekend, gave us this wonderful gingerbread house kit!! It was so cute... sadly though my brother's dog got to it before we could and so the roof was broken, and most of the candy canes... i thought maybe i could salvage the roof-- but negative on that one- But i LOVE gingerbread houses... so i was so excited, and i decorated the rest of it anyway!! Pretty cute-- it was so fun, i love this time of year-- so many activities to occupy my time!!!

Looks yummy, Rhett even tried to eat the broken gingerbread roof, I said "I dont think you are suppose to actually EAT that??" He said "Why not?? Oh it tastes like cardboard." Then he picked up a second piece and ate that too!! Are you suppose to eat the gingerbread in the kits?? What if the store put out the leftover ones from last year??? Yuck.... oh and Merry Christmas!!!

Wickenburg!!!

So last weekend, Rhett and I headed up to Wickenburg to see my little brother race his last ATV race for the season... We also got to spend a little time with my parents-- in between the race that is!! It was a very long race track---- so Rhett and I hiked through the mountains, so we could watch my brother from all angles- There were so many cactus' out there and they were so HUGE!!! We stood next to a few so that you can really tell how tall and crazy they are... Rhett is about 5'10" and i am 5'4".. if that helps your imagination a little....

Rhett looks so tiny up there!!! This picture is of Rhett and my Dad just before the race--- They were the "pit crew." The races are crazy they "pit"(ex. change his goggles, fill up his gas, give him water, etc.) my brother in about 30-45 seconds!! It is so crazy to watch, my dad has like five or six people helping him do everything when my brother pulls in... i should have taken a picture--- but we were both too busy helping. It was so great to see my family and spend some time with them-- and it was also a good break from the studies for Rhett.

1- I have a very bad habit of leaving cupboards & drawers open!! i never shut anything!! It use to drive Rhett crazy... now he thinks it is funny!! When we make dinner, he will come in and count how many cupboards are open usually it is at least 5!! Horrible, horrible habit.... Even at work i never shut my drawers!! It drives my co-workers nuts.. and my clients ALWAYS bump into them!! How embarrasing!!

2-This isnt so random... but I LOVE ice cream!!!! Frozen yogurt, gelato, smoothies, popsicles, whatever is frozen and creamy I just cant get enough of it!!!

3- I love organizing things, everything has a place... i always wanted to be a professinal organizer!! Weird, i know, but i think life is so much easier when it is organized... sometimes when i am bored i will re-organize the closets.. just for the heck of it... k that is a lot of info....

4- Being the holiday season... i am one of those wierd shoppers that starts in like january!! I am not kidding... i bought serveral gifts for the family back in March!

5- I am a big bargain shopper... i will find what i want then go to like 3 stores to get the best price and then come home and make sure i cant get it cheaper online!! Even groceries!! Most of the time i shop at three different stores, one for dry goods, one for produce, and one for everything else.... yes really i do this every week... but it saves a med student and his wife a lot of money!!!

6- I cant think of another one... but if any of you can think of a random fact about me... please share!!!

So this year we grabbed all the girls in the family and headed to Vegas, and yes we left at about 5 in the morning... But it was so fun!! And we hit up some serious sales at Macy's!!!

Here is Thanksgiving day!! My Aunt just moved to SG, right down the street form Rhett's parents house, actually, and so she was quite excited to have the WHOLE family over for thanksgiving. I didnt get a picture of all of us.. but most of my dads family was there... We had 1 grandma, my mom, my dad, 2 Aunts, 2 Uncles, 3 siblings & 2 spouses & 1 girlfriend, 9 cousins & 2 spouses & 1 more girlfriend, and three grandchildren!!! It was a little crazy!! But we had so much fun!! We played Bingo and went to the movies, ate lots of turkey, we did a little christmas serrvice for an orphanage in Mexcio... and well now we are seriously tired from running around all weekend!! Here is my little nephew!! He is getting so big!! He is about 11 months now... he says Uh-oh and it so cute!! He is walking around on his cute little legs and i just could not get enough of him!! Poor guy has so much hair!! I ran out of time to cut it... I'm sorry Amy!!

Whew!! We are glad to be back in AZ with the warm weather.. but we miss all of our families in SG!! And of course i am ready for christmas now!! Here is a picture of my tree!! "Pop, what are you talking about?" the son screams.

"We can't stand the sight of each other any longer," the father says, "We're sick of each other, and I'm sick of talking about this, so you call your sister in Chicago and tell her."

Frantic, the son calls his sister, who explodes on the phone. "Like heck they're getting divorced," she shouts, "I'll take care of this!"

She calls Phoenix immediately, and screams at her father, "You are NOT getting divorced. Don't do a single thing until I get there. I'm calling my brother back, and we'll both be there tomorrow. Until then, don't do a thing, DO YOU HEAR ME?" and hangs up.

The old man hangs up his phone and turns to his wife,

Well, I have to apologize because blogging has taken a serious back seat in my life lately.... mostly because of the lack of bloggable information going on in our lives right now--- but it is the middle of november and Rhett has made it through his first quarter, of his second year of medical school!! Yay!!!! Finals week was last week and we are so excited it is over!! It was a very loooong week... So rhett is looking forward to a much anticipated break from the studies!!

Well, just to sum up the last couple weeks--- My little brother races fourwheelers out here in the valley every now and then, so my parents have come to visit us like three or so times in the last month or two! It has been wonderful! We LOVE company!! Poor Rhett doesnt get to enjoy it as much as me, but i love it when we have visitors!! We have mostly been busy with school and work, though... not very exciting(I know). We also went down to gilbert once and stayed the night with some friends.. which was a good little break. We got to enjoy some Costa Vida and Neilson's Frozen Custard, while we were down there!! So yum, yep that is right Neilsons, anything you want that is Utah or Mormon can be found in Gilbert or Mesa!

So other then that i did a little redecorating in our bedroom. I have had these cardboard intital things for a while... so i finally painted them and added some "bling" and then hung them with some pictures above our bed. I think it turned out pretty cute... i just wanted something above our bed... and this will have to do for now.... I still need to put pictures in the frames... but you get the idea!!

Super excited for christmas this year!!! So, i decided to make some pillows... No, mom i didnt sew, well kind of, but not really. These were placemats that i bought at HomeGoods. They were super cheap, then i bought some badding at JoAnns with a coupon. And then i pulled apart a small section of the placement and added the badding. And then hand stitched it back up. I think they are pretty cute, but i am still a little unsure. What do you think??

I also made these signs out of wood and then wood letters i painted the board and the letters and them i tried to sprinkle "snow" on top of the blue one, but it wouldnt work. I think they are okay... they are missing something though and i cant figure out what... so if you have any ideas let me know... but for now i think i will wait to hang them up.

Weekend in Vegas!!!

Here is my handsome husband at the D.O. Convention in Vegas last weekend!! He did some research over the summer, and he made a poster to present his research at the convention. His poster turned out awesome! He and one of his research buddies did a great job... his professor told him maybe he should take up graphic design instead of being a doctor... hmm.. i dont think she knows how much debt we are in---!! Also, i am so proud of him, not only for this, but because I wasn't even there.. but he still had HIS picture taken!! Good Boy!!

On a side note... when the convention was over Rhett and his friend Ryan, went and drove through Wendy's all dressed up in their shirts and ties around 10 at nite, and the kid in the drive up window says

"The only people dressed like that where i am from are mormons..."

Rhett & Ryan: "Umm... We're Mormons..."

My guess is after that, there was an awkward pause and long moment of silence while they exchanged food for money, because i forgot to mention the fact, that it was Sunday, and then Rhett said, they drove off rather fast!! I thought it was so funny!!

BTW- I know your thinking oh that kid must be from Utah... nope Washington State!!

Well... the Rhett-ser and I made it to three years(as if you expected anything less)!!! Well i went to work and rhett went to school... we went to dinner at the Claim Jumper!! So yummy!! Rhett has been craving a good steak! And then we came home and had ice cream and then Rhett went back to the library to study!! Poor guy has always got a book in his hand and is always distracted by some class... i dont know how he stays so disciplined, but i am so proud of him for all of his hard work and dedication!!! Happy Anniversary to us!!!

Well, I decided it was time to bust out the halloween decor!! My sister n law asked if i was going to put out halloween decorations and i said no-- i think ill wait until christmas before i start decorating. But once again it was almost 100 degrees today, and i figure if i put out my halloween decor-- it will have to start cooling down and feeling like fall. I miss the bright red leaves, and the wind in my hair, and the cool crisp evenings.... nope not in AZ we have dead grass, green trees, a packed pool, i am still running our AC!!!

So here is my decor, i think this wreath turned out pretty cute-- i made it last year, i saw it in a magazine, and well i revamped it so it would have a little "bling...", I like my wreaths *sparkly!!!* I need to to get some fishing string so that i can dangle some spiders-- but i havent done it yet. Oh, and dont walk by my apartment and expect to see the wreath outside hanging on our front door... you see we have a funky door and it wont close when i have my wreath hanger on the door.... so ill have to think of soemthing else.... besides forcing it shut and then not being able to get it open again... which Rhett stepped in, while i waas shuving the door closed and told me that wasnt going to work... so i had to take it down and it is now hanging up in the hall.... until further notice anyway.

Fall Blues

So according to Regis and Kelly at 8:44 yesterday Fall officially began!! I am so excited!!! Except for the fact that today is supposed to be 102 degrees--- Fall in arizona?? This is what i am saying!!

So we went to this fireside on Sunday and the bishops wife had taken pictures of the view from their apartment, during every season. So i thought... hmmm... this might be a fun game in arizona. So here is picture #1 for fall. Let's just see if it looks any different in a few months.

Meanwhile, Rhett has been studying... Surprise, surprise. He has also been seriously busy, with so many other things... It is even hard for me to keep track of his schedule. He helped start a club at the school, so the other week was clubs week and so he was busy doing that for his club and for HOME, (the clinic that he helps organize). Then he has been to UMOM(the clinic) twice in the last couple weeks and had a few tests and quizzes to keep him busy. Poor guy is running around like crazy!! Meanwhile i have been scrapbooking like it is going out of business!! It is so nice to finally have a scrapbook table and a room to spread out all of my stuff! Ill have to post pictures of it later-- it is so nice to have all my items organized and easily accesible- it makes it more excititng to scrapbook!! So here are a few of my latest pages...

Yep, that is right school is back in, Rhetts got the books out and i am back to work full time!

We did a lot playing this summer, we moved, went to some weddings, caught up with some old friends, and new ones too!! We went swimming very often and enjoyed the hot weather of Arizona!! We also hit up some free "Summer of Love" parties that our apartment hosts. We went to three or four, yes we are poor we will do anything for free food(especially when it is Rubio's and Gelato!). Yes, all for free!!!

We had tons of fun, played lots of games and just enjoyed Rhett NOT studying!!

But now it is back to life and back to reality, and I know Rhett is ready to get this medical school thing on the road again. Three more looong years...let's hope they go fast!!

Disneyland.........

Well, for Labor Day we decided to take one last vacation, before Rhett had to go back to school! Destination: Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure We went with Rhetts sister and her husband and his brother Burke!! It was so fun!! Here is the boys getting ready to get dizzy on the tea cups!! Bevin and I were still dizzy from the Grizzly River Run- so we decided to pass....
Below-- is Burke and Bevin on the Toy Story Ride!! We loved this ride!! It had these big screens and you had these little shooters and you would shoot at the items on the screen- and then it would calculate your points!! It was like a life size, interactive arcade game!! Too bad Rhett killed me, but it was so fun, we even went twice!!

It was hardly busy at all--- we just walked right on to quite a few of the rides, it was great!

California here we come... The whole time we were there we kept singing the theme to the O.C. Burke kept joking that we going to go find Ryan's house... and we really wanted to go to the cemetary and see Marissa... but instead we just went to the Newport temple(pic below).
California Screamin'!! Yes, i was too chicken to go-- i DO NOT like roller coasters!!
Here is the Newport temple. It was beautiful!! It was a pinkish color and it almost looked like a spanish mission-- if you know what that is(they have these missions along the coast of California, think the picture on Mission Viejo tortillas). It was very pretty and i like how they included the culture of California.

Of course we had to hit the beach at newport and then we drove all the way to Santa Monica and watched the street performers.

Check out this guy!! He is painted silver from head to toe... His whole face was silver, even his eyelids-- quite entertaining!!

Random Night of Cleaning....

No... this is not another one of those crock pot blogs.. so don't worry... you CAN keep reading!!

However--- this is my crockpot-- and I say mine because although i do share it with rhett(on occasion) this is one item that was not a wedding gift. It was a gift from my mother before i moved to college. I know not very exciting when you are moving off on your own-- but i love my crockpot!! Probably love it more now, then in college, but...on with my story.

I took this crock pot with me to college, which turns out when i got there, Wendy's cooked a lot faster then the crockpot and therefore this item rarely got used, but i kept it anyway.

When i lived in provo i had this great roommate and she had a great fiance, who had a great best friend, who had a crush on my cousin. So both the boys were ALWAYS at our apartment. Well one day, we went to a party at these boys apt., we will call them the Burley boys, because that is what i called them in college. Well, while we were at the party we noticed that the Burley boys had a crockpot that looked just mine!! I mean EXACTLY like mine!! I thought that is weird, and so did the roomies. So, a few days later at home-- yes you guessed it... my crockpot was gone!!! Just a reminder for those that have never lived in Happy Valley(Provo), most collegees do NOT lock their apartments. We leave everything unlocked, (seriously who is gonna steal a DI sofa and top roman??), so therefore the Burley boys came in and out of our apt. like they lived there and well, to be honest we could care less.

So when the crockpot was missing, my roommate swore that she remembered JP, (not the fiance, the fiance's great best friend) taking my crockpot over to his place a few months earlier and then she figured he just never returned it and so my cute blue crockpot was still sitting in the Burley boys apt!!! So us girls of Apt. 51 went over(while they were at school of course!) and broke in (well the door was unlocked) and stole my crock pot back!!

So, if you look closely on the right there are the intials JP. He even had the nerve to write his intitials on it!! It wasn't even his!!!

So tonight, Rhett is gone and i am cleaning, which is what i do when i am bored(pathetic, i know). And i am washing this beloved, thoughtful gift that my mother gave me years ago. And i am thinking, what if this is really JP's crockpot?? This thought crosses my mine everytime i use this stupid thing!! I really still to this day don't know if he really stole it, or if i just lost it?? But i ended up with it and he never stole it back... so i guess i will just keep it..... but why cant i just forget about it already and accept that this is MY crockpot??? Why do i think of this story EVERYtime i pull this thing out???

In other news... rhett and I are loving this no-school/i only work 30 hrs a week thing... And so we drove all the way down town, in rush hour, just to eat at Matt's Big Breakfast!! Yum!! It is this famous breakfast place(so we were told) in ghetto downtown phoenix and it is about the size of my apartment, actually i dont even think it was that big, but ill give Matt the credit anyway-- It was delicious!! Very worth the drive!! I can't wait for my dad to come visit and try their pancakes!! He loves going out to eat at home-cookin' breakfast places!! This place is so yummy!!

And yes that is the restaurant and all the restaurant... it is no wider and no longer than what you can see-it is tiny- in fact we almost drove right past it on our way there!!

Wedding number TWO!!

Okay, so here are pictures from my little brothers wedding in Boise. We got back from there about a week ago... but life has just been a little crazy!! Here is a picture of Kyle and Kylee... This isn't the best picture, but aren't they cute?

We got there on Thursday at about 1 or so in the morning. Don't even worry your pretty little face that our flight was suppose to arrive at 9 p.m. Thank you Arizona for making our 1.5 hour flight about 5.5 hours long!! Rhett and I boarded the plane and pulled away from the gate and then sat on the runway for a minute-- then came the rain.........and the wind. It was blowing like 70 miles an hour(that is what the pilot said, i think that was way up in the air- not next to us) but it was blowing and pouring the rain was almost sideways, so ill give the pilot the benefit of the doubt and say it was blowing 70 miles an hour. Well after several announcements we finally took off 2 and 1/2 hours later!! It was awful, it felt like one of those stories you see on the news where people are stuck on the plane for four hours!! That was us!! And then, since planes are charging for EVERYthing now... The stewardess kept repeating, "Well, since we cant control the weather, this delay is not our fault." "Just remember this delay is NOT our fault, so there will be no free beverages!!" What???!!! I am afraid if i wreck they are going to charge me for the air mask and life vest!!!

Meanwhile... Here is Rhett and I with JorDan, My littlest brother, He looks pretty awesome all decked out in his all black tux!! He really wanted a lime green tux to match my newest sister n' laws colors... but to my moms gladness-- they didn't have them! So all black had to do!

This is me, Karlie, Kiley(the bride!), Haley, and my brothers wife Amy. This is her two sisters and my brothers two sisters. I just thought this picture looked cute with all the colors and her bouquet.

And here is the whole family!! It is starting to get bigger! I still cant believe how old all of us are getting!! It is weird to see my parents with three married and a grandbaby! But i love it!

Lake Havasu...

So Rhett and i left last Sunday to go to lake havasu for a few days, not necessarily for play but Rhett was doing some job shadowing. We did take one evening away form work and saw the sights! We also ate at lots of local restaurants, which i love local restaurants!!

This is the London bridge.. yes that is not a mistake the London bridge is in lake havasu city, Arizona. We use to always drive by here as a kid when we would go to the river, some man bought it from London and it shipped all the way to Arizona. Here is a view of the lake, this is the way our hotel room faced.
Here is a ferry boat, they give people rides on this boat down the lake. Well, i am not sure if they still do, but when i was little this place was jumpin', it is a little run down now.

I just loved this old telephone booth!! It was behind a fence next to a condemned building, but i saw it through the cracks and the fence just happened to be unlocked......... so Rhett and I snuck in and took a quick pic!
I am not sure exactly what this is but it has something to do with London-- just a little proof-- in case you still don't believe the London bridge is in Arizona! When they took the bridge apart in London to move it they put numbers on each piece that way when we they moved it they could piece it back together. You can still see the numbers on it a little bit- but i forgot to take a picture of them!! I am guessing this is where, the song London bridges falling down came from!!

Lake Powell!!!!

To continue on our summer saga... we left on Wednesday to go to Lake Powell. We went with about three other couples that we know from Utah. It was so fun!! They invited us to stay on their houseboat, which i was grateful, because i am not a BIG camper. We were able to eat some delicious food, play some video games, and enjoy the sun and the very nice water!! I know i have posted a lot lately, so this post is mostly pictures, also because Lake Powell is pretty self explanatory!! Rhett and i both grew up going to Lake Powell, so we love any chance we can get to go back!!

i love this picture.. he looks so excited!! It was a well deserved break for Rhett. He worked really hard his first year of school and then he immediately jumped into a full time job!! It was so nice for him to just relax for the first time in over a year!

A little tube jumping... Rhett and his friend Bryan blew up this huge tramp with only a foot pump!! Then sadly it popped a few hours later... But the boys sure had fun going down the slide and trying to land on the tramp.

The boys were pretty upset. So they just found a cove and continued on! We had so much!! It was nice to just relax and play in the sun!!

UMOM & Never on Sundae!!!

So I know you thought our madness couldn't get any crazier after we got home from SG. But Surprise!! It is only just beginning!! The Monday after we got back, which was last Monday(a week ago yesterday), sorry a little behind on the blogging, Rhett finished his last few days at his summer research job. After work on Monday, Rhett headed to downtown Phoenix to volunteer in the clinic(UMOM) that he helps to coordinate. It is a little shady down there, and he goes at night time, there are so many people on the streets, it is sad and crazy and makes his wife a little uneasy every time he goes. Luckily the community where the clinic is located is gated and has a guard. So that makes me feel better, or does that make it worse??

Well, here is a picture of where the clinic is, it was dark when i took the picture but the sign on the right says wellness clinic. It is a great facility for people, it is made especially for families. It is a living facility with housing, medical care, food, and other resources to help them get back on their feet. And Midwestern oversees the clinic and Rhett helps coordinate the doctors and students and supplies needed for the clinic.

Here is a sign that is painted on the back wall, notice the random shopping cart. Ghetto, as me and rhettser would say. But really it is a nice clinic. It use to be an old hotel, and Rhett says that they just bought two other hotels across the street, so it is getting really big.

So on Monday Rhett spent the evening down there volunteering.

And then on Tuesday both of us headed down there, because the center(UMOM) was having a block party. Kind of like a back to school, BBQ type thing. they had a lot of people there donating their time and items. They had tons of brand new shoes for the kids and backpacks full of supplies. They also had Karaoke and ice cream and cotton candy which the kids loved. And then Rhett and his partner at the clinic organized a group of students and doctors to provide medical services. He did a great job, they were able to get an Optometrist to do eye screenings(of which i am an expert at helping with now), they had some students taking blood pressure, also blood sugar testing, and they handed out info. about diabetes, they had a podiatrist come and do foot checks. It was pretty interesting and a lot of work for the boys but they did an amazing job organizing it all and the people were excited to get the info. and the mini check ups.

Here are a couple older pictures, but I wanted to share this restaurant with those of you in the valley. Rhett and I are CONSTANTly in search for "local" restaurants. One of my clients told me about this place, Oregano's. They serve really big servings and the food was really good!! They are a pizza, pasta place. So, Italian, which is my favorite(besides, P.F. Changs, of course), so you should all try it!! Yummy!!
It had the cutest decor, there are several locations in phoenix, so just Google it and then you can find which is closest to you!! I would add a link to the word but does anyone know how to do that?? I haven't figured it out yet?? Well, the best part of Oregano's and the whole reason we went, is beacause they have yummy dessert, that is just like a Never on Sundae form Pizza Factory in SG!! Well it was quite as delicious, but these are my favorite desserts, and i HAD too have one!! So Rhett and I were so excited to find one here in Phoenix!!

One busy Weekend....

Okay... so first i have to apologize! My mother said that my last post sounded like a pity party-- DID NOT... i repeat DID NOT mean for it to sound like that!! So, i apologize for that one!! I do however want to thank all my friends and family for the goodies, and cards, and wonderful birthday wishes!!! THANK YOU!!

Now, I am going to apologize again, for the picture overload below.

Rhett and I drove to St. George two weekends ago for a very busy three day trip. We arrived on Thursday, late i might add, and then we got up at a decent time friday morning to help prepare for my little bro's reception. The reception was at my parents house. My parents did a good job, the house and the backyard looked awesome!! My little brother likes mexican food, so my mom had Irmitas come and cook tacos, burritos, mojitas, quesadillas, whatever you wanted, they made it right there!! I thought that my husband was in heaven, it was awesome!! We also have a neighbor that owns a Frazzle machine(it is kind of like a slurpee) and he let us borrow his machine for the event.... but he ended up leaving it there all weekend!! Man were we frazzled out!! Irmitas also brought over a Horchata machine-- another family favorite and well she left that all weekend too!! It was like a regular beverage bar in our backyard all weekend!! Below is the Hansen attempt at a family picture, i think it turned out good, except we all kept trying to get the baby to look at the camera and well does that ever work out for anyone??? Here is the lovely couple!!! Kyle and Kylee... yes that is how you spell it... funny huh?? I told my little bro that he needs to name his first child Kyler, just because i think it would be funny!!Aren't they just so cute... my mom wanted the event to be casual so the bride to be wore a cute white sundress i thought that was a great idea! We had so many wonderful friends and family come to share their congratulations...

Even my good friend kristen came to share her support... Turns out my brother is connected to her family in more ways than one--- Her family grew up in my ward, and then her Father-in-law turned out to be my brothers bishop-- i believe... talk about a small town. I don't know why we didn't get a picture, i love to see my blogging friends in person and well, i totally forgot to take a pic. It was so good to see her!! Thanks for coming Kristen!

My mother and I... do we look tired or what?? This picture was taken at like 10:30. The party didn't start until 8- so you can imagine by the time everyone left it was going on 11:30. Then we had to clean up. Oh dear, it was a long day!! Rhett and i cleaned up and then headed to bed somewhere around 1-- makes me tired thinking about it!!

Don't worry the party is not over yet... The next day we had to be at the temple by nine because my older brother Jayson and his wife Amy were taking their new baby through the temple. This is a picture of Aiden and I at the reception at my moms house, he looks so happy-- Amy and I worked real hard for that smile!! And he is a great baby and hardly ever cries, but this smile is really a whimper!! I don't think he was very happy.. but he fooled the camera!!

Rhetts sister and her new husband joined us in the temple and came to all our family events!! It was so great to see them!! I wish we could have spent longer with them... After this morning event we ran home and the boys went for a quick round of golf and my mom and i ran to the mall in search for some shoes for the wedding in Idaho. Then we quickly ran back home to watch the lovely new couple open presents and by the the time we were through, we ran to my brothers for a BBQ for the baby. Which started at about 6- Tired yet??
My brother just finished landscaping his backyard.. i should have taken pictures, my dad and him did a great job. It had a cute little sand area for the kids too and let me tell you it was a hit for the little ones!! I didn't take any pictures that night, but it was beautiful and the weather wasn't too hot...

So we pulled another late nighter there, and then we got up Sunday morning to be to the baby blessing at nine!! Whew!! The following are some family pictures we took after the blessing...

It was great to see friends and family... i am sorry that we missed some of you too... it was just such a fast, busy event filled trip. But don't worry we will be back soon i am sure!!

Well, i am not a big advertiser when it comes to things like birthdays, or big accomplishments. I really don't say much when things like these sort happen--- but last week was my birthday. Yep, even the girls at work didn't realize it was my birthday until after i had been at work for 6 hours, the day of... i thought it was funny, although it does cause for an awkward situation...

Yea, it is my birthday.

Ummm.. (awkward, what do you say to that??) and what do you say in the first place?? Come barging in to work yelling "Guess what it is my birthday??" I am a quiet person when i am at work- well kind of, and that is just not me, so i just keep things to myself.

But anyway... Rhett and i celebrated with our friends the Skinners, by going to this wonderful Frozen Custard place called Culver's. It is really popular back east, and although it is nothing like Nielsen's in SG, it is quite delicious and rhett and i get SOOO excited to go there. In fact he ordered a huge concrete(because of his excitement and barely ate half!!) We love this place!

On my actual birth day, Rhetts brother Burke took us out to dinner, to none other than P.F. Changs!! This is my favorite place... well one of my favorite places... Why you ask?? Umm, have you had the lettuce wraps??? Need i say more, they are delicious!! Try them!! You will soon be addicted! I didn't get a picture- we were so distracted because our waiter took forever, we were there for 2 hours!! Yes, horrible service, but great food, so we put up with it, whenever we go there we never have good service, not exaggerating it has happened 3 times. But i guess when you have great food- you can do whatever you want and yes we will probably still come back!!

Rhett also surprised me with Grey's Anatomy Season 2!! i am loving this show, well maybe just loving Patrick Dempsey, just kidding!! But i am definitely into it, and so Rhett was nice enough to make this lovely little purchase for me!! I am so excited!!

For the 4th of July, Rhett and I headed to San Diego with some friends from Utah. Our first stop when we got there was to see the temple!! It was closed, the grounds and everything were closed so this is as close as we could get, so beautiful!! This is Rhett and his friend Jon, they spent most of their time surfing and skim boarding, they had so much fun! And boy were they worn out at the end of the day!! The weather was so nice, it was like 75 degrees the whole trip! It was wonderful, the beach was packed and the water freezing, but we had so much fun just being part of the masses of people on the beach!!!
Of course, Alexis and I just enjoyed the sun, until the boys talked us into coming into the water.. which again, was FREEEEZING!!!!

While the boys, surfed and played sand volleyball, Alexis and I went to this very ghetto swap meet. I LOVE swap meets, Rhett always thinks i am crazy, but California has the greatest swap meets. But they are ghetto(notice the cop car to the left). But Alexis and i came and we conquered!! We wanted to find some authentic coach purses and we did, we also found some brand new awesome Hurley shirts for the boys- 5 for $20... you cant get better than that!!
We both fell in love with the same purse!! So cute... i don't really want to know where they get these purses, because it is a little shady-- you walk up to this table and they will have a couple of fakees out and then when you show interest they bust out the real things from there car or behind a tarp in the back... and they only pull out a couple at a time and they are way discreet about it... pretty sure it is just a little shady--- thus the reason for the cop car i am sure!! But that is okay- they obviously got them from somewhere and i am way excited to have a REAL coach purse for a fraction of the price!!

This is while we were waiting for the fireworks to start- they had the fireworks right off the beach, it was a little chilly by the water- but minus us isn't this picture great??? It turned out really good the sunset was perfect on the water!! Alexis and Jon took us to this cute little Italian restaurant- it was packed and it was probably the size of my living room. Literally my chair was touching the persons behind me- but the food was so good!!
And of course we hit up the Hard Rock before the Fireworks!!!
We had a lot of fun, but we are glad to be back in AZ!! Back to work for the both of us!!

Summer Lovin'.........

Okay, so here is a very past due update. I think i said before that Rhett is out of school til September(yipee!!) And so we ahve been doing a lot of playing! It has been so fun! We are loving the hot weather of phoenix and hanging out by the pool and getting to know some of the awesome friends we have met in arizona better. It has been a good break so far, both of us working, so it is not all play, but is nice for Rhett to have a break from studying!

Well, this last weekend my family came to town... my brother had a team race and it started at six at night and went to midnight!! We didnt make it the whole time-- that is waaay past our bedtime but we stayed til about ten- and turns out they took 2nd place!! Which is GREAT!! Here is a picture of Rhett and I with our hard core ATV racer, JorDan.... Just a note, my little brother raced with 2 other people and this little radio thing on his head is a walkie talkie of sorts, that way my dad or whomever can talk to the racers while they race from the "pits."
Here is a picture of us on the way to the water park in Mesa. Rhett's sister and her new husband surprised us with a quick visit from Utah a couple of weeks ago, and we decided to go to the water park, i will post pictures of all of us later- they are on another camera. We went out to dinner, played games, and splashed around at Sunsplash. It was so fun for all of us to hang out, Rhetts brother lives in Scottsdale and so all of his siblings were here!
Like i said we have been "playing" a lot!! These are some friends from SG that just moved down here to go to the same school as Rhett. We had to introduce them to Castles and Coasters, we LOVE that place!! This picture is from a couple weeks ago, but it pretty much sums up what we have been doing. We have played lots of games with friends, and watched some pretty funny shows with some neighbors(has anyone seen Wipeout?? I think Rhett wants to be a contestant!!)! It has been a great summer.. and there is still 2 months left!!!

Favorite Things........

Several friends and I participated in this "Favorite things Swap...." We all get assigned a partner and send them our favorite things.. i had a hard time thinking of my favorite things, but here is what i got in return!!

So Melissa spoiled me and sent me the greatest favorite things!!! She had a little note on each item that explained why it was her favorite and that was my favorite part... here is what she sent...

Pop Tarts- not just any pop tarts brown sugar multi-grain pop tarts and they are really good and brown sugar pop tarts are my favorite too!!

Lip Gloss- that tastes very delicious!

Off wipes- I am going to love these!! I live by a lake and i have so many mosquito bites, and i refuse to wear the spray bug off stuff, so i think these could very much turn into my favorite!!

Nail Kit- K.... Melissa you don't know how excited i am about this!! I always want to buy one of these kits, but then talk myself out it... and my husband always teases me when i steal his finger nail clippers to give myself a pedicure!! So, now i have my own and i LOVE it!! I have already used it three times!!

Peas and carrots- Melissa has planted a garden and so she sent me some seeds... i will have to save them for next year and maybe we can tomatoes, peas and carrots!!!!

Energy Drink- She sent me this delicious drink... and i love the taste!! Melissa where did you get this???

Okay girls.. i am seriously excited about this!!! Seriously sad too though... because i would LOVE LOVE to go to this event so that i could pick my Edward in person, (i know kalie, i am an edward fan- well...unless she is in La Push. then i am a jacob fan!!) Why cant someone love two boys at the same time--- anyone watch the bachelorette?? She can fall in love with Jason and Jeremy right??? And graham.. well what a snot!! Glad he is outta there!!

Well here is the event, unfortunately i will be out of town!! But i wanted to let you all know that the barnes and noble in peoria is holding this event when breaking dawn is released!!! And most stores are holding it at midnight, but lucky you the good employees of the Barnes and Noble in peoria, dont want to stay up that late!! So they are holding it at ten!! I believe if you want to go you have to call and reserve the book before hand... SO have fun and think of me.. i will just have to pre-order it and have it waiting at my house!!

K.. so remember my blocks that i started.. well i loved all of your ideas! But i decided i wanted to go family... so here you go.. pretty cute huh?? I am excited how they turned out. I want to make some for valentines day that are pink and red and say love!! Too cute.. Here is Rhett, he was so excited we probably got at least 40-50 tomatoes from our four plants, we only wish we could grow more than just tomatoes!! Rhett grew up with a garden and all his grandparents have them, so he always was eating home grown food.. so it is hard for him to eat food from the store because usually it picked too early. So, we made salsa and rhett quite enjoyed the fresh picked fruit!!!

Okay so not very often does something weird happen in the Frei home... i am not going to lie, we are pretty normal people. But i do have a story, so bare with me on this, it will be lengthy!!

So, hmmm.. where to start.... well the other nite we had some friends over for games... and one of my friends left her crib, so on thurs. she came over to pick it up and as we were walking out the front door to her car, to load the crib, something by my front door smelt(is that a word??)really bad!!! So, probably out of habit, my kind friend who was holding her daughter said "Oh sorry, looks like we are going to leave you with a wiff!!" So i figured her daughter had a dirty diaper... no biggie, RIGHT???

Well so then i come back to the house and it smells AWFUL!!! It smelt like dirty poo and a little fishy... seriously i have never smelt anything this nasty!! Rhett came home an hour later and i had the windows open(even though it was 100 degrees outside) and i was spraying febreeze, it was pretty bad... so i tell rhett the story about my friend, (bare with me abbie, i promise it gets better!!!) and we both are just feeling bad for our friend that had to change that diaper... but the smell was SO bad, and not going away so we decided it was best to have lunch outside!!! It seriously was making me sick it smelt like festering poo!! GROSS!!!

So, by the time i got home from work thurs. nite, the smell was better, still lingering, but better. But the weird part was that the smell never left the vacinity by the front door, it just lingered between the front door and the kitchen... that is weird dont you think??? Well, rhett thought i was weird for analyizing it so much, but something was a little "fishy." So by Friday morning i could smell it again, and i was bound and determined to find out where it was coming from!!! By this point, remind you it is friday and i have smelt this nastiness since thurs. morning... It smelt like something had curled up and died by our front door!! At this point i am asking some of our friends if their kids ever have diapers this bad?? Because it smells like dirty dead fishy poo!! Yes it was awful!! One of our friends said they couldnt smell it(i think they were lying though, it was awful and obvious!!), but sometimes there kids have pretty bad diapers, so by Friday Rhett and i are seriously debating on whether or not we are going to have children, because we do not want our home stinking like this ALL the time!

So Friday night, i am frantic and obbsessed, i am going to figure out were this stench is coming from it takes all nite!! I completely clean out the fridge and throw away everything and anything that i think could maybe possibly be bad.. because the smell is seriously wiping me out, it is so awful and i am starting to think no diaper could be that bad, unless it is stuck in my house!!! So i clean out the fridge and take out the garbage, and rhett cleans the kitchen floor and we check the hall closet.. nothing... we left for a few hours come home... smell still there.. by now i have used half a can of lysol and half a can of febreeze, i have gone through about 5 tea lights and a whole bottle of smelly oil... So then i start sniffing the kitchen, the cupboards, the drawers, the fridge, the closet, all the containers in my fridge, the milk, then i start sniffing behind the fridge, i had to put my face against the wall and then lean the other side of my face on the fridge and i was deeply sniffing, and smashing my face... i was going to find where this stench was coming from if it killed me.. or we gonna have to move............again!!

So then i tell rhett to smell behind the fridge, and i think he was in denial, because he is telling me he doesnt smell anything, and that he is not putting his head between the wall and the fridge to sniff, so i keep sniffing, and i seriously think the smell is coming from behind the fridge. So my goal Saturday--- to clean behind the fridge and pray that our smell isnt really soemthing "that curled up and died" as i had been telling rhett. So, saturday i get home from work and i am looking at the fridge and i bend down, to make sure that i cant see any dead animals before i pull the fridge out.. i am a little afraid of scorpions after our last incident. And here is what i see....

So here is a little back up story, a few days before this, i dont know exactly when, i opened the freezer and a few items fell out(our freezers are horrible they are decently sized, but there are no shelves, so everything is thrown in there(not by choice ,mind you), it drives me nuts!!!) so everytime you open it things fall out.... i have seen it at other apts. too so i am not the only one with an unorganized freezer.

Well, anyway, i buy this frozen fish at the store and each piece is individually packaged making it easy to cook... and each bag usually comes with four individaul packaged pieces. Well we cooked two pieces a couple weeks ago, so 4 minus 2 is 2. If my math is right?? So this fish bag with what should have been two fish pieces fell out of my messy freezer. Well i picked it up and there was only one package of fish in the bag. So i kind thought that is weird, but a while ago i bought this same fish package and they ripped me off and only gave me three pieces instead of four.. so i thought maybe i got robbed again. So, i put the one piece back and thought nothing of it..........TIL NOW!!! It clicked, and I told Rhett that something seroiusly DID curl up and die under our fridge!! And poor abbie, that i thought her child had a serious problem... I can't believe i didnt look under the fridge earlier!! So here it is, it makes me sick to look at it.. this is the only kind of fish i eat and i cant look at it the same now.. i can only smell dirty dead fishy poo(it really smelt like that too, yuck!!!)!!!!!!!

So then i pulled out the fridge and of course it had left a stinky trail of goop. But an hour later and half a can of Oust! And our house smells normal... it only took like 3 days!! YAY!!!!!!!!!

A doctor and a wedding

So, here is my man, one year down, three to go, unless you count residency... then... well who knows when he will be done!! He has worked so hard, I am so proud of him!! We are so excited for summer, Rhett is going to do research at the school, and we have a couple weddings to go to and well, we are just excited to spend some time together, and maybe hit the pool! We just got back a few days ago from Utah. Rhett's sister Bevin got married and we are so happy for her! These two are so cute together!!! And they both were so happy... Here a few pictures from the wedding, things were a little crazy and we had some last minute decorating to do before the reception, so by the time the recetion rolled around we were hot and tired and well i didnt get a lot pictures... You cant see her dress too well in this picture but it is beautiful, Rhett's mom made it,(note: while she was in Brazil, trying to help run a mission!!!), it was all lace and she also hand sowed beads on it.. it was beautiful! She did an amazing job.
