Calling all Bloggers!!!

Okay, so i hate to admit this, but i need help!!! I am beyond stuck in a recipe rut!! I feel, and I think my husband does too, that we eat the same things over and over and over again! It is driving me crazy... so does anyone have any good recipes???

I have the greatest idea, how about if ALL my wonderful blogging friends, and those random people who look at blogs but don't comment(it is okay, i believe we ALL do that=)... everyone just post one recipe, i am sure some of you do this already, but i am new to the blogging world and have probably missed some great recipes!! So please will someone help a girl out?!

How about i start...

Chili
1 lb. Jimmy Dean Maple Sausage
4 reg. size cans red kidney beans, drained
1/2 to 1 whole onion chopped
1 pkg. chili mix
1 jar any kind of salsa
1/2 cup or so sugar

Cook Sausage into bite size pieces. Then combine all ingredients into crock pot and cook 3-4 hours on low.

*The maple sausage can be found by the breakfast bacon at the grocery store, or you can replace it with ground hamburger or ground turkey, i really don't like sausage all that much- but the maple sausage is sooo good... we make tacos with it too.*
*Also, sometimes i will make a little extra chili and then use it as the meat base for Navajo tacos, a couple days later. For those i just buy a big bag of Rhodes rolls and flatten them out and then fry it. Maybe not too healthy, but it tastes really good! I love them with honey butter too!!!*

Bernie's Mexican Chicken Casserole
(I know not another chicken recipe! Sorry!)

1 whole chicken cooked and deboned
(or I just use canned chicken, it is easier and tastes the same)
12 tortillas cut up into bite size pieces
4 oz. can chopped green chili's
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 empty soup can of milk
1/2 lb. shredded cheese(like cheddar)

Mix chili's, soup, and milk in large bowl... In a casserole dish layer tortillas, mixture, and then chicken, at least twice. Then top with cheese. Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes.

So there we go... i have given three, if you count the tacos! So anything would be great, casseroles, crock pot, chicken, pork, steak, ANYTHING to a help a girl and her husband eat something besides chili, or mexican chicken casserole, which are two of my favorites... but are starting to get old!!! Can anyone help me???

Thanks for the recipes! I love getting new ideas for things to make too..I am like you, I tend to make the same thing over and over and over. Some of my friends and I have been trying to post some new recipes on our blogs every week so you can find some of mine there..and follow the links to Bron & Megan's page and Nick & Jeanines page and look through their older posts and you should find some good ones there too. And keep posting yours so I can get even more ideas.

Well I'm not the best cook, but I'll give you an easy one that I made for lunch today...
Chicken Noodle Soup
1 box chicken stock
1 bag shreaded carrots
1 stock celery chopped small
1 bag of Kluskies Noodles
Chicken (cooked and sprinkled with Bon Appetite(sp?) seasoning then cut up.
I just boil the noodles in the broth until done and then remove the noodles and cook the carrots and celery in the broth. Then when they are done I throw everything back in the broth and serve! Way easy, and my kids inhale it!

Sara my love, all you need to do for the tagging thing is to copy it from my page. Then go to your page and open up the thing to write a new blog and paste it, then you can go through and erase my answers and put in your own. I forgot to paste that part of the post into my post. Silly me. I need your help making my page cute. I just got my computer running again so now I can go full speed ahead on my page. Your so good with the scrapbooking stuff. I wish I could help with some receipts. I still only cook for one which means microwaving! I think that we should meet in St. George one weekend and hang out. It's been too long and I miss you!

Okay, I promise I'm not a stalker. I saw your blog from a friend's blog, and I clicked on it because I know some Frei's, and I was going to see if you were related to the Frei's that I know. Since you are asking for recipes, here's a few that are absolute favorites with my husband and kids. If I ever meet you, you can let me know if you liked them or not. I'm always on the lookout for great new recipes, and these are some of my best.

French Bistro Pork Chops
14 oz. carrots
1 small can mushrooms (drained)
1 (15 oz) can whole tomatoes
1 (15 oz) can cannellini beans (drained)
4 boneless pork chops
salt and pepper
1 tbsp, & 1 tsp. french herbs
1 can cream of potato soup
1/4 cup mustard (dijon if you have it)
1 tbsp. tomato paste
3 tbsp. soup can water

Combine carrots, mushrooms, tomatoes, and beans in slow cooker.
Place pork chops over veggies, season them with salt & pepper, & 1 tbsp french herbs.
In bowl, combine potato soup, mustard, tomato paste, soup can water, & 1 tsp french herbs. Pour mixture over pork chops.
Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours. *Can be served with french bread. *Boneless chicken breasts can be used instead of pork chops.

Ham & Cheese Quiche
4 oz chopped ham
1 onion, chopped
8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350.
Spread above ingredients in 8x8 pan that has been sprayed with nonstick spray.
Blend following ingredients in blender:
3 eggs
1/2 cup bisquick mix
1 cup milk
Pour mixture over others. Bake for 40 minutes.

Italian Cream Cheese Chicken
4 boneless chicken breasts
1 pkg dry zesty Italian dressing
1 can cream of chicken
1/2 cup soup can water
8 oz cream cheese (1 block)
1/4 cup milk
Combine all in slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours. Serve over rice or pasta noodles.

Dessert:
Cream Cheese Tarts (I've never met anyone who didn't LOVE these)
2 8 oz blocks cream cheese (softened)
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
2 eggs
12 vanilla wafers
12 paper cupcake liners
1 can cherry pie filling (or your chioce)
Preheat oven to 350. Place a liner in each cup of a muffin pan. Place a vanilla wafer in each cup.
Beat cream cheese with a handheld mixer until fluffy. Add sugar & vanilla, beating well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Spoon mixture over wafers, fill each cup about 2/3 to 3/4 full.
Bake for 20 minutes (they will rise in oven, then slowly deflate as they cool). Allow to cool completely. Serve with pie filling on top.

I am best at making sweets since that's the most fun to make, and eat... both of us agree that this one is our favorite dessert:

Moon Crater Cake Dessert
1 cube margarine
1 c. water

Bring to boil then add:
1 c. flour
4 eggs
dash salt

Filling:
3 c. milk
8 oz pkg. cream cheese (softened)
1-6 oz pkg. vanilla pudding (or choc.)

Topping:
1-8 oz pkg. cool whip
chocolate syrup

Boil water and marg. Add flour all at once; take off burner. Mix well. Add salt. Add eggs, one at a time; mix well between each egg. Press into a 9x12 pan (will be very sticky). Bake 25-30 mins @ 400 degrees.

For filling:
Beat cream cheese until smooth, add milk slowly so it doesn't get lumpy, then add pudding. Mix until smooth. Pour over cooled cream puff. Refrigerate until set. Top with cool whip then drizzle with chocolate syrup.
